I've completed 4 levels so far and am having a blast. I did not play this game as a kid like most reviews show. This is a fun game about spawning units and capturing/defending bases to control the map. I can't recall any game like it, it is action packed and has great pacing. You must strike bases strategically in this FPS/RTS. There are also numerous upgrades to improve your hovertank, deployable units and base defenses. How to generally play the game - Spawn in your hovertank and shoot any enemies in sight - Sit in the yellow circle pit and press F9 to claim a Citadel (your main base tower) - Spawn 2 ground turrets with F5 and 1 SAM with F6 for Citadel defense - Press O to manage your base(s), spawn in a Power Generator, and start with Infantry and Tanks - The power generator gives you money to spawn in your own units - Spawn infantry with F1 on buildings to set satchel charges - Spawn tanks with F2 for unit damage and minor building damage - You can also spawn fighter jets and bombers after you build those facilities (F3 and F4) - Recycle (delete) your units when they served their purpose to get money back (default is Delete key but I changed it to Z) - If you hear your citidel is under attack, press F12 to cycle to each citadel tower and fight the baddies. You can spawn in your own turrets and SAMs if the enemies took them out. - Press ESC to return to your hovertank from the citadel view How I learned the game: - I did not play the tutorial (so it might help you out) - I read a guide on GameFAQs - I reviewed the in-game keyboard configuration - Trial and Error which was fun figuring out the puzzle Some notes: - There is a guide on steam to increase the resolution, I did not do that though - The game does not like multiple monitors, set to display only 1 - Scroll wheel or changing volume might skip a cutscene (not that they really matter) - In the options, setup the 2 mouse bars for Sensativity and Acceleration up all the way to the right. - Increase the graphics while you are in the options
