The question here shouldn't be "Can you survive this Space Adventure" The real question is whether or not you can survive the aneurysm this game gives you because of how frustratingly terrible it is.

: Space Survival The first impression i had when i first saw the game was, cool, a retro-like 2D Shooter, i'd probably get it later on, got my hand's on it and, lets play arround a little bit, but i was not expecting i would end up with 1 hour the first time, i totally got hooked to the game, possibly by the memories it got back to me from the retro consoles i played when i was younger like Galaga, Phoenix, even ikaruga and the latest one on this list,Really Big Sky... From now i would like to proceed to another section of the review The gameplay is actually simple, funny and engaging, better when playing with electronic music, that creates an atmosphere of futurism, and relaxes you as you make your way trough the game, as simple as your mouse, that is all you will be needing to play the game, Mouse 1 you shoot your laser beams, Mouse 2 you move arround, easy, right? Difficulty The Difficulty reminded me A LOT to ikaruga instantly, you have to be fast if you want to survive in the survival mode, cleaning trough waves and waves of enemies flying arround your screen and avoiding them to make your way trough the most phase's you can, memorizing the enemy movement pattern, including them coming from 6 different ways and then being surrounded by 10 enemies at a time, and you thought being surrounded by 2 player's in call of duty was a certain death huh?, YOU WERE WRONG, here if you have more than 6 enemy ships you are probably death unless you have cat-like reflexes, i personally only got to phase 4 with a lot of hard work Graphics One of the most interesting things in the games were the graphics, pretty good graphics for the kind of game it is but still leaving a lot to wish and to improve, in general i say graphics are good enough still Music First thing i found was not enough and tha leaved a big missing spot in the game is the music sound's a lot more like a super hero game and does not feels like a space themed game, definetely the music is not the game's most outstanding element, however you can just use your hottest electro mixtape and there ends the problem, anyways this is definetely a point in favor to the game Final veredict In general this is a good game that you should probably add to your library if you like challenges and retro-like games, but to a general public i would recommend only to spend 30minutes to 1 hour, having all of theese said i give the game a final score of 9/10

Like other reviewers have mentioned this games seems incomplete: - * There is a game "mode" selection screen but there is only one game mode. * When you die there is a "continue" button that does nothing * There is no high score counter and your score disappears as soon as you die I purchased this because I got a discount voucher from the card trading system... and saw this game had card drops and so if it turned out as rubbish as the reviews suggested I'll play it for a few hours and I might be able to get another discount voucher from the card drops in the future... but after about 20 minutes of clicking and playing it was like "oh, this is really the entire game, how long do I need to play to get the free card drops?"... Turns out about an hour...

This is the first time I've seen such a terrible game. They made disgusting controls with 2 buttons on the mouse, 1 to shoot, 2 to somehow try to escape from endless waves of enemies. In the games of the 90s, even that was normal control. Terrible optimization, if there was one at all. As a game in which there is almost nothing, the 3d parameter of the video card can load worse than in Diable 3 at max settings.

Let me get straight to the point; one of the worst games I have ever played on Steam. The fact that I paid money for this garbage makes me sick to my stomach, and here's why. The game is borderline unplayable for the following reasons; 1. The game is excessively difficult right off the bat by forcing the player to rely solely on mouse controls; right click to move, left click to shoot; this makes it nigh impossible to move and shoot at the same time; a recipe for disaster. 2. An explosion everytime an enemy dies obscures at least 10% of the screen and covers other enemies, making it even more difficult to be aware of where enemies are located. Planning a split second move in advance? Not likely. 3. Only one mode is available; being survival mode. Way to leave a game unfinished! If you want a poorly made rehash of asteroids; this is the game for you. If not, I suggest looking elsewhere for a game more deserving of your purchase.

Yup I only played this game for about 5 minutes and decided it was shit. No variation, no customization for the options, bland menus and 1 game mode with bad controls. There isnt even a leaderboard. Just stay away from this and get geometry wars instead.

It's not that bad of a game, you just need to be idle and aimless to enjoy it

I played this game for about 15 minutes and I feel like I've experienced everything there is to see. Sure it costs less than a dollar, but this game is downright barebones. The enemy ships (and there's only one kind) have next to no AI - they just aim themselves at your ship and crash into you. They also respawn right after you kill them, which means there's basically no reason to do anything but fly in a circle. As far as I can tell there's only 2 controls, left and right mouse buttons. Although I can't be sure, since there's no tutorial. There's also almost no options whatsoever, not even difficulty. Even the first level is almost impossible. Basically, it feels like a flash game.

I can't see how you can sell this and not even label it as early access, which it obviously is. Wait no, this is hardly even early access, it's more like fetal access. There is only one mode and there's practically no options. You can't even disable the volume, which in due time will initiate a nuclear meltdown of your auditory canal. The explosion animations are gratuitous and block your view of adjacent projectiles. As projectiles get closer to your ship, this is a major problem and you just end up using the spray and pray tactic. The game IS brutally difficult but the difficulty shouldn't be compounded by frustrating controls and bad game design. It isn't clear what vision the developer has for this game outside of dollar signs. -There's no engagement with their player base in the forum. All criticisms have been ignored. -They have lackeys in the forum that are trying to divert attention to positive reviews of the game on external websites rather than address customer criticisms. -They have fake positive reviews. -This isn't flagged as early access when it should be. This game is complete crap and don't let them swindle you for a few quarters and make you think it isn't a big deal. Supporting this kind of BS is just as bad as trying to sell it. Refund request filed. This is nothing more than a polished turd.
