The climbing mechanic is incredibly well done. Once I got in the home, I soon found myself purely swinging from object to object, trying to impress my friends with death defying stunts. It brings back the sense of KZ climbers from counter-strike. I thoroughly enjoyed the feel of propelling myself forward and can't wait to see if they can make some truly challenging puzzles.

This is an amazing experience, It has a lot of potential and it worths every Euro I spent on it. I just hope there are coming more levels and a bit more difficult, maybe with some floor.. making some level design more.. designed. But it just give a great experience. Lots of emotions there!
It maybe does not look like some game you would buy because of the theme, but.. it does worth it.

This game has potential. The jumping is what pisses me off the most about this game. But my hands, fingers hurt after the first 2 to 3 minutes of fast clicking over and over and over again, as i race other online players to the top/finish line. I don't recommend though. Although I will admit, it was a bit fun. But it needs fixing up, revise the game. I do love climbing games.

I absolutley loved this game. The graphics are adorable and there are plenty of cute levels to work your way through. As much as I enjoy games like John Wick and Brookhaven, this is a fun change of pace. I have had this game for about a month and already new courses have been added. So much fun for so little money.

So far this is my second favorite vive game. The candy and graphics lured me in, I felt safe, then I tried throwing myself like they showed, missed my grab, fell off a candy cane, and every muscle in my body screamed as I fell. It's a brightly colored fun game that is great to introduce people to just how real vr can feel. It's really fun to throw yourself up the course soaring through the air and even after a couple hours of playing I still feel a twinge when I miss that grab and fall. I haven't tried multiplayer yet, but I'm looking forward to it. My wife was pretty meh on vr besides google earth, but she ended up loving this. It's been a good gateway game to get her into some vr gaming. Great game that's totally worth the price.

Right now this is really short, but I love the mechanic, totally looking forward to more content :) I have yet to play it in multiplayer but I look forward to that too! :D
Edit: There is now a fair amount of levels in the game, and some of the concept levels are just insane, with incredible heights, quite the thrilling experience IMO!
I've now tried a few other climbing games, but I have to say Sweet Escape is still one of the more natural and intuitive ones out there, and I use it as a good examples of how to do it. Getting really into it and acquiring the muscle memory to do crazy launches is very satisfying.
I think one of the only negatives is the weird mechanism to transition between levels, with two ways to rate a level, a yay/nay button pair, and then you get moved to where you see buttons to navigate levels. It's a bit convoluted, and without voting the navigation buttons are small in the distance. The climbing is still great, just this navigation that irks me :)

This is far more enjoyable than I imagined. I have more fun playing this than The Climb for Oculus Rift. I don't get as scared in The Climb because I'm always looking up at the next place to grab and I'm also constantly looking at a wall. In this game you always see what's below you and let me tell you it's very scary when you're up high!

This game has seen a lot of improvements since it's first release. There are a healthy amount of levels now, and the art design and use of color are very appealing. Using your hands to move is my favorite locomotion scheme in VR at the moment, and it works well here in one of the first experiences to use that method. Flinging yourself through the levels is a lot of fun. If you already have Climbey or are not turned on by it's drab aesthetic, this is a good alternative.

This game is more of a prototype with barely one level complete, no way to actually launch it from the vive. I can't see how the developers put more than 2 days into this current build. Charging money for this is ignorant.

A full priced demo.
You simply "move" the entire level, using your hands.
Sure, there\'s a bit of novelty, with the candy theme, but seriously...
Even the difficulty is a self-enforced one. "Please, only use the red grips if you want a challenge".
Sure thing, I get that. But isn't that more of a achivement, and not so much of a difficulty implementation?
1 level.
It took me ~2 minutes to complete. That was the entire game.
Think of this as level 1 of Super Mario. With only 1 type of enemy. For 20€.
