This game felt like Forza Horizon 5 (derogatory) at times. The events are often just boring if not annoying, the highlight is definitely the freeroam but even that gets boring as hell after a while.

Game is genuinely awful if you want to use a controller. Almost impossible to even play. Half the time when you are trying to hit jumps, instead of jumping, your player will brake. It seems as if every control is actually mapped to another button. Controller support is just awful and would never recommend this game on pc.

An overall fun and exciting game, where you can snowboard, ski, sled, wing-suit and more to your hearts content on some beautiful mountains, you can either chill with your peeps and ride freely or challenge yourself with the range of challenges in the game, most of the time it's a grand ol' time but some of the challenges might make you rage a little bit until you understand *what* exactly you're meant to do. this game started off as a random cheap purchase (on sale it was round £5 for me) and I expected the game to hold my interest for like 3 hours until I moved off to the next "big" game, instead I ended up locking in, 100%'ing the achievements and even tried challenging for a few world records (I got close a few times tbh) so this game is easily addictive once you get into it. Only slight annoyance to some of the options (like the sled) is that it's locked behind the DLC, and that at least one set of DLC (The Olympics) is no longer purchasable, meaning you can't truly 100% the game, however at least Ubisoft realised that and removed any achievements you couldn't get from said missing content. Steep is 100% worth picking up on sale, especially if you get it with the DLC, boot it up whenever you're having a bad day and just throw yourself down a mountain or two, it can be therapeutic.

The games graphics are really good for a game that old, it's not really outdated compared to modern games the challenges are pretty good except for a few, the dlc's also bring some new fun things to the game, ofc it still has the stupid ubisoft launcher requirement and all that ubisoft BS but it's really worth buying at a DISCOUNT.

Could have been a perfect game if Ubisoft actually gave a shit about their customers. This game is riddled with the most obnoxious bugs the worst of which is the fact that they didn't even properly offer controller support. A random person had to make the correct layout for everyone and then you have to go find it and download it JUST to have the game WORK PROPERLY. Don't even get me started on the fact that the entire game's progress is tied to being online. Meaning, no online = NO GAME PROGRESSION. Ubisoft is disgusting just like EA, the worst of the worst.

Amazing game with some serious flawed design choices. Character creation is very restrictive and basically non existent. You get to spend real money to unlock clothes for a very limited template you can unlock a few clothing items but very limited compared to something like SKATE. The main flaw however is it is now Impossible to get to Japan and Korea because the Road to the Olympics DLC is gone. That was like a third of the map. However this is still quite an amazing extreme sports game and there is nothing quite like it, probably one of the last really good ubisoft games.

Skate 3 but for snow sports. Played it on the Xbox One, played it on the Series X, Played it on PC. Fly around, do whatever you want. Good game however the HR's up at this games company are starting to focus on monetising it which nobody likes, focus on bugs and features please!
Fell down roughly 400m at about 100km/h head-first into a rock and yet, instead of instantly transforming into a pile of goo, I stood back up and said to myself - "That, was, AWESOME!"
I mean that is as legit as it gets, right? Anyway, the game is Steep, the hills are Steep, the price is Steep, EVERYTHING is Steep! Steep is life, Steep is love! 206 bones/10 - Yes, that is the total amount of bones within the human body, and my character has easily broken quadruple that amount in less than 17 hours.

I don’t know what the negative reviews are on about. This game is peak, quite literally. The controller support is good from my experience, if you don’t like it just use steam big picture mode you big ass baby. This game is for all the dudes who saw games like Tony hawk and Shaun white and were upset with the limits to speed and what your character can take. You can jump of a giant cliff on a snowboard, hit like 10k tricks, and land fine, and it is so satisfying. Throw in wingsuiting and parachuting too, and you have top of the line fun. Multiplayer too, not just with friends, but other real people hitting the slopes like real life. The listening to music while riding around vibes nearly top the listening to music and swinging around in spider man 2 vibes. Do reccomend.
