There is so much stuff flying around now, that you win or lose without quite understanding what you are doing.
You really have to work your way up, expansion by expansion, to understand what is going on

This is basically the 2.0 version of the rules.
it's excellent, and very well refined.
like all the dune imperium content it's very well implemented
Single player challenges are well designed and are good fun to make use of the unique things happening in uprising.

A nice change from the original game and its expansions. You can play Uprising with the previous iterations (minus og base set cards), but I prefer it on its own. Now that I've had some time playing it, I will say that I do miss quite a few fun cards from the original base game. The cards here interact with eachother a lot better, so you can build some interesting decks, however powerful cards like Kwisatz Haderach, Lady Jessica, and Reverend Mother Mohiam were really cool, fun cards to play and are missed when playing Uprising.
Anyhow, I look forward to an expansion built around Uprising.

Mixed bag on polish. I would like some sort of BLIND GUY checkbox to make the shield wall more obvious as I have fluffed it multiple times a big angry red border would be good. With just immortality toggled on the right side of the screen is getting cluttered on PC and I dread how it will be on android mobile where looking at the tech stack is a perpetual disaster that is as likely to bring up the menu as the tech market. Wurms seem like the new shipping track in terms of efficiency. AI has made moves that don't win them the game or get them closer but blow up my round to let another AI win. Either it's a fun little nod to spite at the table IRL or they make the 'optimal' play that results in a fractional advantage that cannot be leveraged due to being in an endgame--Hard to know which of these it is without playing a lot more.

Another fantastic expansion do this awesome game!
As with the previous expansions, what I enjoy most is that all expansions build on each other so you don't have to choose which single expansion you want to use but instead you can use them at all at once.

I own the physical copy of Uprising as well as Bloodlines(the expansion designed for Uprising). I loved both so much I even got inserts for it!
15 dollars is an excellent price for this content, as it's essentially a standalone board game in comparison to the original Dune: Imperium + Expansions. The board and player interactions really do have deep, fundamental changes. They could have charged this as a new digital board game: to their credit, they did not.
I'm excited for Bloodlines when it comes out, as well. I highly recommend this for folks who already liked Imperium base.

This is a great implementation of the Uprising version which is my favorite. I can't wait for Bloodlines!

In my opinion superior in every way to the original version of the game. More useful cards, more interactive mechanics, it's basically the 2nd edition of Dune Imperium. It would be nice if we could build custom decks between all the expansions instead of fully enabling them, some of the base game cards are interesting to mix in with Uprising.

This is my favorite version of one of my favorite board games by my favorite digital board game adapters. It's almost perfect, I only wish there was some way I could recommend someone just buy this stand alone without having to own the base game like you can with the physical edition.
Anyways, here to hoping they get to the bloodlines expansion next, as my truly favorite way to play is Uprising+Bloodlines only :)
