Had to use a mod to get controller/high resolutions working properly, and then had an infinite loading screen bug after beating one of the last bosses. Game's broken, don't bother.

I had this game on Xbox, I had to get it twice because the game’s that good, only issue is lack of controller support but there is work arounds.

Love this game. Played it on Xbox 360 a long time ago and it was worth picking up again. Beat the entire game in co-op. Lots of fun with a friend. It harkens back to a different time of video games. The bosses can be quite tough and the game doesnt hold your hand a lot. If youre having trouble, just try to level up some. You will get more powerful, get more health, move faster. It can be tough to beat the game without these upgrades.

Game does not support a basic 8-BitDo PC controller. Lame. Update your $h!t CAPCOM!!! Seriously!!! If Bethesada can still update FALLOUT 4 (a ten year old game), you all can DEFINITELY put in a controller update for Dead Rising 2: Off the Record

After buying the game I couldnt even save as it automatically said the saved game data files were corrupted. Even after deleting all files and saved files on their respective directories it still states corrupted. What a waste of so much time.... The game will require particular set of skills to edit registry for profile path with the method to remove special characters or spaces to get the save file to work. Another issue is the fact that the game crashes randomly on most encountered bugs. Without mod patches or filtered compatible settings set within the control panel of your graphics card, the game would just run poorly. As much as I love the nostalgia of this game, this is indeed a poor game port of the PC/Steam platform that would direly need a lot of workaround solutions just to make it run seamlessly. Overall, there is no option to rate this game on steam by scale, but I would recommend the game only if a player has enough patience and love for this amazing game.

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record Sandbox Mode is my favorite zombie game of all time no contest. People mention games being cozy. This game is super cozy to me. I like clearing out all of the zombies in an area or finding a safe spot and just taking a break. LOVE THIS GAME 10/10.
