Takes time to get used to the fact that the main character only has voiced lines in important cutscenes. But other than that - it's not half bad. Actually good.

0/10 Shattered an already badly broken game. Literally made the game unable to start via steam. All the other DLC seems to only add the sort of glitches more typical of the main-quest-breaking glitches already riddled throughout the laughably and embarassingly unpolished, cracked, flawed, fractured, included, and yet somehow pleasant and compelling, and....recommended(??) gem that is Two Worlds II. The solution seems to be to deselect this add-on under "Manage My DLC" on the right column of the main TW2 game page in your library... seems to allow game to become playable once again.

This is more of the same Two Worlds II but with less polish and a few downgrades. - Main character does not have VO on in-game dialogue but not during cutscenes. - Travelling is a pain. Fast travel/dropping teleporters locked on several outdoor areas. Storage Chest is a few minutes away from a teleporter. - Quests that give very little information on where to go or what to do. Marker does not always indicate where to go. - Abundance of master locked chests containing junk e.g. 1 mushroom. - Several chests cannot be opened as they are facing the wrong direction. - Poor framerates in a few areas especially Shadinar. - That jumping insta-death section in hell. - No lockpick merchant?! I haven't run into any game breaking bugs, though I did keep multiple saves just in case. I still like my richocheting anvil rain spell.
With this game, The Day Before is a masterpiece!
This game costs more than 20 Euros, and it doesn't even have recorded dialogues xDD Completing this mess borders on a miracle, because at the final stage you have to count on luck whether you manage to pass on or not. I bought this just to have in the entire Two Worlds 2 100% achievements, and in this DLC there are 5 achievements and note that...
2 don't work because the quests are broken and can't be completed xDDD
Women have the posture of men in this game, every character looks awful, disgusting. And funnily enough, there is no contact with the developers xD The biggest mess that has come out in the history of video games.

In my experience - DO NOT GET THIS. After installing it this DLC rendered by entire Two Worlds 2 HD game inoperable. I cannot launch it anymore. Even uninstalling a reinstalling didn't fix it. It permanently broke my game.

When I enable this DLC, the game crashes on start. Seems the problem is well known. Some people recommend hacks like copying some DLL from some other game... COME ON! It should be the developers' job to fix it, 3+ years after release.

I love the franchise and wouldn't have complained if they took a month longer to release it to fix all the things wrong with it. Plus it doesn't have that Two Worlds 2 feel. This is the first game I have played where the main questline becomes incompletable. First I really struggled to get the golden horn then, I havent progressed any further because a giant doesnt drop an ingredient to go to hell. All in all it felt very rushed and I havn't seen all these different guilds and factions that was advertised.
“We are products of our past, but we don't have to be prisoners of it.” ~Rick Warren
OK, f*ck. Yes, I'm gonna start my review like this. Because what we have here? It's a disaster. I mean, sure, Two Worlds II was far from being perfect. And previous DLC (Call of the Tenebrae) was pretty awful. But this? This one is on the whole new level of crapiness. Which came as some surprise to me. Seriously. It's the third DLC for a nine years old game. It's a direct sequel to previous one and it continues to tell us the story of Dar Pha (pretty sure she was called Dark Pha in the original German version, but whatever). In other words, Shattered Embrace tries to tell us more story and Reality Pipe had heck of a lot of time and experience to make it good. What can go wrong? Well............. everything. Everything can go wrong. On paper, this one isn't that bad. I've already mentioned story (which is probably the best in the entire series, since at least we've got some basic plot twists this time), while we'll also visit quite a lot of interesting places. Heck, our hero will even visit Hell. How cool is that?! The answer is – not cool. Not cool at all. Why? Well, it's all because this DLC is... broken. Absolutely, completely... broken. Remember games like Sacred 2 and Gothic 3? On start? Long before any updates or community fixes? Shattered Embrace spits on 'em. Even with the latest update, this DLC feels like an avatar of despair. All of you people complaining about Cyberpunk 2077? You should try this one. Just to see how bad things can be. Very often, using the cheat console will be your only way to progress. And sometimes? Sometimes even the console won't help. Shattered Embrace? It can break you. Did you see Joker with Joaquin Phoenix? It all started with this DLC. Quest markers will point in completely wrong directions (or won't even point anywhere, so, good luck looking for something without even knowing what or where it is), crucial monsters, items and the NPCs won't spawn (for quite some times here I've wasted hours just to understand that I'm stuck only because the stuff I needed to continue my playthrough simply wasn't there), heck of a lot of scripts won't trigger even during the most important main quests, ultimately breaking your game, some parts of landscape will just disappear with no reason, the game will freeze quite often (even though neither main game, nor previous DLCs did that in my case)... Let's just say that not only your hero, but you personally will need to go through Hell to finish this one. But maybe... just maybe it's actually worth it? Like... you know how sometimes the game is so good that it's actually worth suffering through the bugs? Guess what? It isn't. At this point, Two Worlds II is too old. And it wasn't a good game to begin with. It's one of those clunky old games only hardcore RPG genre fans care about. Even more so since it's also a pay-to-win game with an in-built store that offers stuff for real money. Having more of exactly the same? In 2019? The idea itself was pretty bad. But re-living the worst days of Sacred 2 and Gothic 3? With all of those game-breaking bugs and rage quits? In 2019? All I can say is..................... Good grief!

Stop. Please, just stop. We suffered enough, just leave it be and move on. I was playing through DLC to get last achievements and be done with this game but encountered a gamebreaking bug. One of required characters does not appear where he should if you use teleport, not travel there buy foot. To avoid that bug i would need to use old save losing 6 hours. But even if i do that - there was another bug that was blocking main quest with no way to continue. It took devs near two months to release a patch and gues what? Bug with missing character is still there, what a surprise. Do yourself a favour and get some other game
