(Played on Oculus Rift) This is a solid "God-view" tower defense game. Definite value for money at $10! Well balanced gameplay, characters are good enough to make me want to get in and look at them up close sometimes, and really intuitive UI after some early updates by the Dev. If you like Tower Defense - or even if you're just after a "different paced" VR experience, I'd recommend this. 8/10

Amazing. Works so well in VR it's shocking. yes, it is missing info on what the towers do. It is my favourite implementation of VR so far!!

I did not expect much but it is actually nice little game. I did not play any tower defense before so can't say how good it is in this sub-genre but in general it is fun and I am getting that "let's try one more level" itch. Graphics in VR - it is actually nicer than what the screenshots might suggest. Simple but neat. I had no problems playing, it was fluid, responsive, no bugs or crashes encountered. Good game to dive in for some quick fun but also for longer session trying several levels in a row.

This is the VR Tower Defense to get after buying all the better ones. The large number of tower and enemy types is impressive. Some enemies destroy your towers when walking by, so that adds a new challenge. The motion controls are clunky.

It's a nice game to play around with for a bit. It isn't that good of a tower defense game though, and you'll probably only get like 10 hours of game play out of it before getting bored.

Not played it too long yet, but I can tell this ticks all the boxes. I am a bit of a TD perfectionist (have to complete a level without letting any of the buggers through). So far, stuck on the first level - so a tough challenge - this will keep me going for some time. Recommended. (Noye to Devs, I was initially put off by the fact that it is 'roomscale' - I seriously do not want to walk around my room and stand up for long playing sessions - I play TD to kick back and relax. Happy to say that (so far) it works just fine seated - you can adjust the height and position of the table prior to play. So that's good. You may want to include seated as an option on the store page - I would have bought this game before, but was put off. I will not be the only one. I am on the Rift-S and motion controllers did not work for me, but it works ok with gamepad - would like to see touch controllers patched in though.)

Good little TowerDefense game - sadly abandoned. It requires some polish, which it will never get. (Like opponents' stats and HP bars, info on turrets, etc) Cool turrets. 5 hours fun if you like the TD genre.

If you enjoy tower defense you should give this a try. The developer has done a good job bringing this into VR. The table fits well in my roomspace area and it is pretty well designed. Everything is intuitive with motion controls. The areas you play in have things going on around you and added touches like the weather changing when bosses come out help with the atmosphere. Graphics are nice and I havent had a single drop in performance even when the table is chaos with enemies and towers. There is a fair variety of towers and the placement areas are a lot more free for positioning than any of the other in VR tower defense games so far alowing you to create mazes. I am about 5 hours in so far and there is lots of life left in this game. Definitely worth the price in my opinion.

I wish they would just fix the bugs. This game could be very great! Only Levels 1 & 2 actually work. The other six (6) levels keep kicking you out of the game in the middle of playing. So the game sucks as-is. It could be sooooooo good!

It's honestly a close call for a recommend. I've been playing tower defense games for years, seen many types, good-bad and everything in between. Apps, flash games, custom maps in RTS games, etc. This one is pretty good, but it leaves a lot to be desired that would make it really quite solid, and probably be easy enough to implement. To be desired: -For starters, there is no tutorial. It's not exactly rocket-science, but hey basic instructions would probably help. -You cannot move the table/map once in the game. Coming from games like Smashbox Arena where you can fully move the arena around, spin and rotate it, zoom it in and out (all when dead), I was expecting as much here. Instead it's static, and you have to basically move yourself in relation to the table. Not the end of the world I suppose, but would be nice. -You cannot view enemy health, stats, information, weaknesses, attacks, nothing. Not even a health bar. I mean come on, a health bar would be REALLY nice. Seeing a visible HP stat when selecting an enemy (something you cannot do) would be really nice to. This seems almost basic and manditory, but is completely absent. So you have to learn overtime which enemies do what, what towers hurt them more. All types from what I could tell always do maximum damage, I didn't see any elemental resistances or weaknesses, or armour. Random enemies would start attacking and destroying my towers, that was brutal to find out on the fly, and definitely would have changed my positioning. One wave of two skeletal mages in particular nuked 3/4 of all my most expensive and best towers. -A general information "guide" to view about towers, their upgrade costs and benefits, and especially of enemy types, health values, and what they do would be really nice. Even if this guide wasn't accessible during a game, and only reviewable between matches. Of course you can learn overtime what your towers cost for full upgrades, their stat values seen in real-time, and whatnot, but it would be nice to see in one place for reference. There is absolutely no information on enemies which is disappointing. Now for the pros: -Many tower types and variety -Upgradeable, and at max level have options for elemental type damage, splash, multi, etc. -Interactable environment (for example you drop logs to block enemy paths) -Special moves that respawn overtime and don't cost anything (a blimp that shoots stuff) -You can adjust table position between matches -There are harder modes, faster modes, endless modes -Many levels -Weather -Can place towers directly in line of enemy paths, so you can make interesting mazes for the enemies to pass by -Can sell towers -Good graphics As far as tower defense games go, this is easily a 7. If this were not in VR and were a flash game, or an app, I would still say it's pretty good. The BIGGEST single detriment if I had to name one, would be lack of enemy information, especially a health bar.
