Interesting, hoping to see more, loving the great music and dynamic map (at least the singleplayer anyhow).

I have to recommend this game. Even though it is in it's early stages there is very good potential for it. I , over the years, developed full animated spider models of my own on other using Blender (haven't even started to think of rigging and animation routines), imported maps to other platforms for testing on other physics engines and have dreamed of a game centered around arachnids. There has been a demand from other games featuring spiders, but nothing like this that I have seen. Reminds me of early Mech Warrior games in some ways. Spider model aesthetics from my experience has been very lacking (see rigging and animation). This lighting and graphics (I'm running this on an Alienware Area 51 with Nvidia) and the game handles fine imo. No remarkable errors, even when the game froze briefly forcing me to close it (that could be an issue on my end). I will enjoy trying out and helping test the physics and mechanics this developer has implimented along with the strategy approach and see what other ideas they come up with.

a game that is still under development shouldn't be this fun, in this game you get to play as a spider and take the fight to other spiders, there's 5 classes of spider butt kickery to choose from, an expansive multiplayer map and fun story line elements, its still under development so it has a rough edge or 2 but that in mind sales and reviews are the only things that will help finish this game. so PLEASE if your in the mood for something very different from the norm, give spider wars a try. 5$ isn't a waste for a in development game and with enough sales development can resume so give spider wars a try wont you?

It's very shallow and shakey feeling right now. Hopefully things change, but in the state it's in, I wouldn't waste the money, especially considering the price was just raised for seemingly no reason, they just didn't like a $10 pricepoint. I got it on sale for $7.50 and I don't feel it was worth the price in its current state. I'll hang on to it in hopes that this changes and update this review if that ever happens, but as of now, I wouldn't buy this title, it just doesn't feel like it'll ever turn into anything more than it currently is, which is very little. The 4 legs in the middle of the spider don't even move, they just bounce a little, so walking around doesn't feel as good as one would hope. Devs need to rig the spider skeleton to a proper model of how a spider walks. Making webs is fun, but you don't coccoon your prey, so it's all very arcade feeling. It's just a really expensive "Meh" atm, and it's supposed to be releasing in just over a year, and has already had 3 put in to it? Not exactly promising. Oh, and a glance at the update page shows them far more worried about marketing an unfinished product to people than they are actually finishing it so it's WORTH marketing... ~EDIT~ Yikes, after doing some research into this company and seeing their indygogo campaign, I no longer feel like this project has any hope of becoming more than it is. It very much looks like a starforge situation. If you can get to their greenlight page, you'll see a whole different game than what is actually presented now, and it looks far better than what I played. This will be the first game ever that I get a steam refund on, because the more I look into this game, the worse things look for it ever releasing, or even being updated with more content. If you think $15 is worth it to sit around in an arcade environment and build a web, this IS the title for you. If you want ANYTHING more out of your games, avoid this title at all cost.... Even at $7.50, I spent this much time researching this title, because it just had the feeling of abandonware. Devs, if you're truly doing what you say and are just a couple guys working hard to make what you feel is a great game, don't let this review dishearten you. If you make a product worth the $15 in the future, I'll happily come back, but something just isn't sitting right with all this...

I tried to enjoy this game but generally i just cant,the game is totally not worth the price and the gameplay itself is just horrible, i was so hype when i saw a game where i can be a spider but the hype was totally just a hype

I like the game to keep it short. Interesting idea and its fun to make webs. Low or unsynced player base though. Leaving one to look toward friends to play with since little to no servers are being run, but I have high hopes/plans for it. Including a group to help people coordinate some games. i really wanted this to be something. im well aware of early access or indev titles being on steam and always want to help out small devs... but honestly this really isnt what it advertises. yes there are spider things to run around in and yes they do spider-like activities plus guns... but there really isnt anything to do. the 2 maps availible are pretty if you run ultra but it doesnt matter if your pc is weak or not its gonna chug every 5 seconds... of the 2 maps one has nothing in it except some scary looking dragons which are just blocks you can knock over... they litterally flop over... like wth. the other map reminds me of Air Rivals... it looks like late 90s graphics but if you enable ultra the shaders and other features make it pass for something modern... but again there isnt anything to do in it under this spikly thing shows up which then gives you a tour of a puzzle map... a really cool tower puzzle map... and then you get ported to what you think is another puzzle map only to find it its actually a pvp arena which has no purpose in solo play. you cant leave it either. i know early access... but just to air on caution because steam is rife with scammers... i requested a refund... ill keep an eye on it for when the dev returns to add more to it. as it is right now the dev says they will be gone for over a year and wont be updating the game... oh yeah there is a claim that its intended for multiplayer... but multiplayer isnt working and wont be for a looong time according to the latest news letter.

this game is really good more ppl that can work or code games need to help the devs this game is awsome
