the game is good but can you add multiplayer in to the game so that friends can race or orb catcher or probably fight till the last one standing wins

[Rating: 3/10] I found that the camera implementation in this game rendered the whole thing almost impossible to play. Rather than a chase camera positioned directly behind the marble at all times, the camera distance and perspective remain fixed and the camera is rotated and zoomed separately. Very unintuitive. I also had difficulty getting my xbox controller to work correctly in the game, and had to remap the controller myself - the first time I have ever had to do this in a game purchased from Steam. Too much frustration here - I'm out.

EDITED REVIEW 29.05.16 Game now supports steam controller, can use gyroscope motions for marble rolling action thankyou dev 10/10 -OUTDATED REVIEW- Brought it to try out the steam controller with a marble/ balance type game but controller support is so basic and buggy to set up that I have completely given up.

Amazing cyberpunk marble roller. Closest to Marble Blast Gold/Ultra you can buy. Amazing! I get stuck on levels sometimes, but the orb system works great for that EDIT: Game impossible on intermediate levels and impossible to recollect old orbs like you used to be able to do, making level editor impossible and the level designers must be sadistic if certain levels count as intermediate.
Introduction
You might be asking yourself? Marble Blast Ultra, where art thou? Maybe not in those exact words, but if you are... GET OUTTA HERE SHAKESPEARE! Anyways, Marble Void is a game inspired by Marble Blast Ultra (yep, that Xbox Live Arcade title on the Xbox 360) and another title called Marble Madness (that I never played). The game adds more to the formula of the Marble genre of game, but takes away from some things too (which isn't a bad thing).
The Experience So Far
I've managed to beat the Easy Difficulty levels after doing some exploration with the game. It took me about 30 minutes, but that's only if you're going about figuring out the game itself. There's a ton of potential for speed running like the past Marble titles. There's also these things called "orbs" that grant you unlocks if you "bank" a certain amount. Banking orbs just happens after collecting and clearing a level, and each level has a certain amount of orbs to collect. The unlocks you are granted after banking are new modes, and I believe even new marbles (I have yet to see that yet though). The reason I purchased Marble Void was to finally get my Marble Blast Ultra fix, and let me say it delivered 'marbleously' (get it?). At the beginning it had me thinking, "well, it's not Marble Blast Ultra", but eventually I had mixed thoughts of, "it might as well be" and "it's not trying to be". The game teaches you how to play the game and what the game has to offer right at the beginning of the levels. During these points of being taught the game's level design and physics you'll compare the games you've played before, and think "This isn't Marble Blast Ultra or Marble Madness - this is Marble Void!" The game has a few things that obviously need to be addressed such as:

Game speed. It feels very slow compared to the other games... However, the game speed also makes sense considering you're a marble in a void.
Moving platforms can feel slow. It's not my graphic settings either that makes this seem slow, I've dabbled into the "toaster" graphic setting, and the moving platforms make me anxious when waiting on them.
The menu's aren't controller enabled. Although I like how you can bind your own controls, it's only effective in-game. I'm a lazy gamer, and I don't like having to press start, and then use my mouse to navigate menu's.
A respawn button would be nice instead of pressing start and clicking respawn. Again, it's more a nitpick for fast gameplay.

The Conclusion
This is Marble Void, a game where you'll be saying things like, "what about Marble Blast Ultra?" in a 'who cares' manner? Marble Void does a lot better with the Marble genre, but although it has it's weaknesses on pacing, it's still a game where you can't deny having fun with.

This game is AMAZING. There are so many special features that happen while you are rolling through levels it's INSANE. I really like the powerups and things like switch gravity that make the levels really amazing to navigate through. It's Pacman meets Tetris with a hint of Megaman in it! :D 5 stars from me and I normally don't care for puzzle board type games.

Amazing game. Takes what MBG did and upgraded on it. Great visuals, rad soundtrack and overall really fun. Hard at times of course, but that's a must. Can't recommend enough to those looking for a little nostalgia. And a lot of fun for people new to the genre aswell!

i like this game a lot! very nice futuristic atmosphere and as every level has its own highscore table, marble void is highly addicting! :) the pickups in form of orbs can be used to unlock bonus features like two mini games, a level editor and they are also important to get a perfect score (and achievements of course) or to skip levels where one is stuck. the game is very hard or at least it gets very hard after the first half. i liked easy and medium mode very much, but the hard levels are pretty tough and require a lot of patience and skills. i don't know about the extreme levels yet :) but in this way, it works for both casual playing and deep mastering. there is always something to do: speedruns, orb collecting, gambling (the "orb drop" mini game is kind of a slot machine), working on the current level...

i was a big fan of Marble Blast Ultra. this game plays very similar to that. BUT - you cant blast and get tht little boost you needed - you dont spin as fast or travel as fast - the skybox and death zone is very basic, textures arent as.... soft? Yet for 5 bucks this game did exactly as i wanted, filled my "Marble Void". perfect game title. holds it own. fun to play 7/10 would play again

Its a Marble rolling game, what's there to say? You honestly ether like these or you don't for the most part. I guess I'll give a few more details than that, the marble controls have a bit of learning curve, the marble itself has weight and you can't stop on a complete dime, for better or for worse. you can unlock anything including stages by earning orbs, meaning you can still progress if stuck on an annoying stage, the game is pretty for a marble game though most games of this type are simple graphics so thats not saying alot. Either way if you are a marble game enthusiast theres nothing bad about this one.
