Love this classic war game. This particular DLC presented a nice challenge towards the tail end of the campaign. Well worth the five bucks or so that they charge.

US Corps 43 takes you into Italy starting with Sicily and ending at Monte Cassino and the Anzio Landings. Your core units are mainly the same throughout the campaing towards the end you do get some Sherman 76s and Mustangs but those are for the last few missions. +Nice locations, the maps definitely feel much bigger and there are more units. At least it feels like it. +I love that in one mission you get to escort Italian POWs cuz they just surrender as you advance. +Captured equipment has always been a thing but I don't ever remember seeing captured transports. It was interesting to see some American units travelling in German half tracks. I think its the first time I've seen that happen. Not much else to say. Its fun, I really like the game anyways and this was an enjoyable campaing.

Love the scenario and map design, especially Salerno and Cassino. This was the high point of the series for me. The repeated maps (invasion then counter-attacks) work extremely well here. Be sure to visit any landmarks on the way :)

Duration: About 20 hours. Good solid scenarios as you move through Sicily and towards Rome. The small variety of US tanks misses a little and I didn't feel this DLC was as interesting as it could have been. Still solid, but not great. 7/10
