I like a set of certain games and come to find out this is the censored version of the game. I will not support censored versions of games. To get the full experience you have to use a third party mod with no link on the page.

loved every second of it. sinisistar 1 is one of my favorite weird atmospheric gore games ever, and while 2 isnt as close to my heart, i still enjoyed my time with it. hope to see more from Uu in the future :3

I get that ryona and guro are taboo subjects very much not liked by the majority of the population. And despite me liking those things, the game will inevitably come bundled with other fetishes that are disliked by the majority of the population. The portion with the pigs and the like are oh so very much not my thing, but are otherwise easily ignorable and for me to continue on with the game. Something I can't readily ignore is at the very end of the final boss fight, the section where the two main characters are assaulted by mutant babies. And while this game contains many taboo depictions, this one goes beyond the line of even the extreme guro and ryona otherwise depicted by the game normally, and goes beyond perversion to just, being vile. There is artistic merit to blood and gore... but no one wants to see the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ babies. And if you do actually want to see that, I would think you're pretty much the lowest kind of human being on the planet.

heavily censored, needing an off-site patch to remove the censorship, but only slightly. everything resembling a vagina or penis is still censored. not worth your time or money, just google the CGs.

To be honest, I've played very few "gooner" type games. I'm not too interested in the concept, as I mostly just see it as... Uh, well two different "activities", if you will? So goon for the sake of goon doesn't make much sense to me. However, I was introduced to the idea by a little game called "DYSTHANASIA", which you may well be familiar with. Now horror games, I can do that all day. As I was browsing the genre I found that game and, reading up a bit, it was a bit gooner but certainly more gore-focused, so I thought I'd play it. Fwiw DYSTHANASIA is simple but not necessarily bad. Come to think of it I need to review that. Anyways. Enter Sinisistar 2, a game that I refuse to spell in random caps like a Y2K edgelord, but I digress. From here out let's call it Sin 2. It was recommended to me largely because I had played DYSTHANASIA as far as I can tell. That and metroidvania's of course. Sin 2 sits in a conflicted space. On one hand, as advertised, even in it's basic un-patched form, it certainly isn't an "all ages" game. But on the other hand, playing through it, it occurred to me that it is sort of the best intro to metroidvania games ever. Mechanically it's quite simple but not terribly janky. Everything responds well to your input and the animation look like someone actually cared about it. Can't say the same for other similar games I've seen trailers of. The Metroid mechanics exist but are very straightforward compared to most other in the genre. Everything is clear and the game requires no great feats of manipulation to 100%. There are some branching paths, but very few, and generally boil down to either A or B, and then you complete the other before the next big section opens up. Overall it's like baby's first metroidvania, but in an art style that is totally for adults. This brings me to the next positive for potential buyers out there, this game can, in a way, be customized to your preferred level of adult-ness. The vanilla game is just kinda lewd, with characters obviously meant to be sexy but not engaging in sex as far as I can tell. The free R18 patch enables all that, but maintains typical-for-Japanese mosaics that cover naughty bits. Lastly, fans as they are, the community has made meticulous further patches that remove mosaics and then you have everything laid bare. So, in this sense, choose what you think is appropriate, gents. Overall I had a good time playing Sin 2. I never played Sin 1, nor did I ever play Demonophobia although I am familiar with it's infamy. I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a very light and easy metroidvania with adult themes at baseline, and truly wild death scenes with various patching. The game ran smooth as butter, honestly my PC could probably have run 10 instances of this game simultaneously so you won't have issues there. DYSTHANASIA was good enough but really relied on the death scenes to keep you interested. Sin 2, however, really stands on it's own as a decent game. If it's on sale I say absolutely try it, but if the concept interests you at all buy it at regular price, it's pretty cheap. Limited experience as I may have I would still venture to guess it may very well be the best playing explicitly sexual game available right now.

100% the game. I was not a fan for few reasons. 1. Lack of mouse support this game would be so much easier to play allowing mapping to mouse. 2. Getting stuck into boss loop until you load a prior save if you go in too early. 3. Death scenes don't fully show it blacks out what type of censored BS if they are not allowed cause visa/mastercard put alternative ones for the steam version. 4. charging people extra money on a alternative site for the death scenes is wild they already paid for the game the patch should be free/optional.

Great game, but hey why is the Game Over Screen always so early? Let me keep playing as brainwashed, parasited monster and help to spread it.

gameplay is pretty basic but the art is wonderfully creative, and the atmosphere and setting is perfectly dark and grim. the game doesn't present much of challenge, often bosses can be cheesed by just mashing the projectile attack. but the levels and encounters are actually really inventive, offering a surprising amount of variety. i also quite enjoyed the 'open world' aspect, allowing one to explore around and revisit areas and investigate secrets and optional quests. though it's nice to have some upgrades and new features with the new 2.5D engine, I think i still prefer the more detailed retro aesthetic of the first game. nonetheless it's an excellent sequel.
