Unfortunately i was not able to really play this game due to the fact of really poor framerate. I don´t know the source, but as other 3d games run smoothly, i guess it´s a problem with the implementation of this game. Maybe i m wrong. Besides the bad framerate, i noticed that the controls are ... you have to get used to it... I noticed that you navigate through a list of items by mouse, but the mouse pointer is not visible. Sometimes it feels not, you know, intuitive. When i walked in a straight line sometimes the body just looked up while i was walking right - making attacking enemies a bit hard when they come from the right. Running, i guess it is, is not really working - sometimes i can, sometimes not. Making evading or passing enemies tough. But main problem for me is that it is not running smoothly. With that stucking framerate it is "playbale" but its not fun. So far, i cannot recommend it because its not really playable like that. I hope that i will be able to run it on another pc someday to give a better, hopefully more positive, feedback.

For a quick read: I cannot recommend this game because it is not an enjoyable game. I love challenging games and I love to test my skills in whatever any manner. This game, as what I have experienced, is hard only because it requires a player to be lucky enough to win a series of lottery, and know what is going to happen at certain time period. Thus, it is 100% not a delightful sight: on the contrary, it is a torturing, boring, and terrifying experience. If you are trying to find a game to test your skill, DONT buy this game. If you are trying to find a game to scare your shit out, DONT buy this game, you should only buy this game if you are boring enough to test your luck with terrible graphics and controls. Below is my specific experience: Long story short. After about 20 tries (was really a torture since I never die because I make a mistake, I only die if I enter a new area and got surrounded by 3-4 zombies which makes me cannot move, and these zombies attack 3 times a second and deals more than 400 damage so I die instantly without given any chance to fight back) I got a perfect start, killed everything on my way and was lucky enough to diable to anti-air weapons... Then I decided to try out a grenade. It was a tragedy: the grenade exploded indefinitely and killed several zombies like a thousand time (yes, these zombies just die repeatedly for some reason.) in a minute, which caused my top quality alienware to run as slow as a snail. This game do not really challenge a player's skill. On the other hand, it challenged my patience and luck. Not to mention the weird control that makes the combat very much torturing. For a survival game , I would really expect it to challenge my skill of managing resources or defeating monsters, but this game requires a very good start (being lucky enough to find the right weapon, right tools, and right resources... at the very beginning.) to even let you start playing it (well, or you die after several minutes of running). And you just need to be unlucky (not... very unlucky) once to get killed (and hell yes, this game has permadeath). The pros listed by previous reviewer. I totally DISAGREE. First because this game is not fun (well was fun for the first hour... untill I noticed the true nature of this game). Second mutiple difficulty levels and characters to be unlocked is... nothing special, you only mention them when there is nothing else to mention. Third, the music is horrible, it would be fantastic if the music scares me but no, the music only makes the game experience as bad as possible. AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS: no I do not want to argue around this topic. I have already written my feeling about this game, again, it will be up to you to choose if you want to buy this game, but unless there is a major change to this game, I will not recommend this game, and will never try to play it again. Thanks for reading!

Yeah... I hate to hop on the negative review bandwagon, but this game isn't very well done at all. The controls are awkward and clunky, enemies will always respawn if you leave a room, even right next to the door you came back from for unavoidable damage, and sometimes your movement keys or attacks don't even register so you end up running right past items you meant to pick up or take damage unnecessarily because you can't walk around a door corner. Definitely not my cuppa.

I like this game, but there are a few problems with it for me. First, it has terrible frame rate when outside, might be too many entities or somthing that i don't know about. (by the way, i have a pretty good computer, it runs more complicated games better than the streets of this game) Second, I found the controls a little funky, I tried to turn around but it didn't read me hitting the button, that happend both indoors and out. Those are the only two problems that I found with the game so far. And I hope not to find more.

It's playable... I guess. The visuals are pleasant enough but the soundtrack, gameplay, controls, bugs/crashes, and general unpolished nature of this overpriced debacle will have you wishing for death. This feels like an unfinished product in almost every way. It has potential but needed to left in the oven a lot longer.

So, strange game with very hard difficulty. Actually, I'm a big fan of zombie games, movies, events. What is the most important part of it? Hopelessness, danger, survival, postapocalypsis. Steam has a lot of really good projects with not necessary 3d graphicts. This is not one of them. Zombies spawns without any logic, shots energyballs... Well, i said it. Not recomended to anyone.

Short Answer: Bug filled mess at it's best, with enemies that don't telegraph anything. Long Answer: The single worst game I have ever experienced. This is below even the Bubsy games, at least I could finish those. Every enemy in this game has instant attacks, the game is grid based, except when it isn't and the delineation isn't clear. The concept is interesting, but the execution is so poor that ramming your head into your desk until you forget about this game is a better use of your money.

this game isnt as bad as people say it is, with the exception of the bat not being properly set and the grenade being a death trap gamble. As far as the difficulty, the dev does warn you at the beginning and multiple times on the store page, it is very hard, but keeping that in mind i suggest playing insane mode for like a few hours then switching over to hard mode, it makes it much more easy. Try not to kill anything unless you have to, or its a safe (wont get you cornered) kill, risk in this game can get you killed easily, so avoid it, however if you are going to take risky moves, may i suggest skating diagonally, for some reason this reduces the chance the zombies will hit you, as long as your quick enough. If you are going to kill, make sure you use a weapon that only takes 1 to 3 shots, I.E. a shotgun or some assault rifles, that being said there is a level up system to increase damage and health, and plenty of food to make healing items, which evventually you will have a ton of, if you play strategically. Do not go for an item, that leads you down a path to a dead end, which can allow the zombies to stack up. Now for the actual review, the game has its share of bugs, and the controls are skatey, but with practice they become managable, so its not broken to the point of not being able to play. The graphics are rpgmaker, what more can i say....the music is quite nice, and if you turn off the music, it gives it a nice creepy vibe. The story, is pretty standard for a zombie game. I would recommend this game on sale at least 50% off...at current price its a no due to its bugs, but if the dev came back and fixed them, i would say full price. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME UNLESS YOU LIKE A CHALLENGE, it wont hold your hand.

I have not played very much of this game thus far, but from what I have played it seems very clunky. The controls are very, VERY floaty and that alone makes combat almost impossible, and most encounters I just end up running away from the zombie attackers. Music is also a problem, as it just consists of a few very repetitive and bland tracks. There is also a lack of fullscreen. Which is a HUGE issue as I failed to read alot of the text on the screen. The game is not terrible though, the graphics are great and the game would have a good challenge if combat wasn't so terrible, and if the framerate wasn't so bad (I am running an AMD A10 APU and 8GB of RAM, nothing special, but it should be more than capable of keeping a little indie RPG at higher than 30fps, which it fails to do) Overall this game had alot of promise, but is a clunky and utterly disapointing mess. 4/10: Below average.

These controls are clunky, I had to fight with them just to loot the starting house. Then when I went on the street I was swarmed with zombies that I could not avoid or turn fast enough to shoot back at. Overall I feel like burning $4 would have been more fun.
