Slots & Diapers Reviews
Absurd incremental game where you turn even liquid assets into financial glory! Spin for jackpots and hire veteran gamblers to automate the madness. Use permanent upgrades and 'mishaps' to accelerate your progress! Simple. Messy. Addictive.

This is a Maybe Recommend, but until steam adds that, leaning no.
Compared other clicker games, this is not worth the price IMO.
Maybe on a sale, but I did not get any of my normal enjoyment from this.
It feels like you hit walls constantly and have to reset to make progress, unlike some games where you can try and push for better rewards on reset. Also at the start you are required to click so much, and it doesnt get too much better till you have most of the upgrades.

This is just "Gamble Table" but so much worse.
Pressing the machines and coins coming out feels so lack lusting, sure you can get upgrades to increase mouse cursor size but from the start you have to basically manually click each coin when 12 spit out of a machine which are all small amount and sure you can quickly get auto pickup on 1 coins but not 2 coins or other coins...
I have played tons of idle game where you eventually get better and better but this feels like it's filled with boring mechanics just so you can grind coins to remove the stuff that is boring.
I think maybe if you put 30-60 min in, it might pick up but watching an old person stumble slowly across my screen and take a ♥♥♥♥, did not fill me with that excitement to keep going...

Eh, I beat the game in around 3 hours. No real gameplay other than moving the mouse frantically across the screen to collect money in mid-late game. It's purely a grind-fest that try's to have a background story, but it wasn't compelling enough to keep me interested. Honestly wouldn't recommend UNLESS you're looking for a game where you can just shut your brain off for the next 3-5 hours and let the dopamine hit.

I didn't even realize the second word in the game's name until I finished it and kept wondering why do I get people in diapers and a lot of ♥♥♥♥. I was wondering if the dev ever actually worked in a casino and if it's a real experience. 10/10

While I do recommend the game, it should be noted that it is an Active Idler until you unlock specific permanent upgrades which may take a while to reach & which path you take, it won't truly be idle until then, any sleeping gamblers will have to be clicked in order to be woken up
Note: In the latest update they fixed too many chips causing lagging & freezing for idlers & they contuine to update the game actively
Gameplay Loop
Prestige, this game has it, you're limited to the amount of RAM you can accumulate per machine until you get more permanent upgrades to increase it, after you reach the maximum RAM that you can, it's suggested to reboot, although you can do what I did & grind some achievements if you wanted, afterwhich you'll be able to use the RAM on Permanent Upgrades which will help make your run easier
Note: The game doesn't tell you which path is all idle functionality & even before you can, you'll be more active than you can imagine
The Three Game Mode Options
First making the game easier & faster with maximum dopamine with buffs, the next being classic with no inherent buffs or debuffs, the way the devs expected you to experience the game & the last one making it a longer grind & adding all debuffs
Note: I chose the path of the longer grind with debuffs & still enjoyed the dopamine for the most part
Cosmetics
A range of cosmetics can be unlocked via a ticket system in game & those such tickets are earned through a special machine after you reboot for the first time, the one & only purchase that is guaranteed is that machine, as far as I'm aware they're purely cosmetic, but you can buy a range of floor skins for the casino floor & characters, all of which are hidden until unlocked, so no preview of what you're trying to buy sadly, for characters you can modify or reset them too, so you can have all of one character or a mix of what you have unlocked using the (- & +) under the characters in the customize screen
Endings
As far as I'm aware & based on a developer response, there are possibly only 2 endings, the first is literally the easiest to get, the second ending is easily missable, but not missable in the sense that you can do both in single run, you just have to have a keen EYE else you will miss it, yes I'm being vague
Pacing For Me, My Experience
Hidden as basically stating my path & what I got, so I don't ruin it for anyone else
After I stayed so long in my first run & maxed every machine & upgrade possible, I rebooted, I found the Floor Master Permanent Upgrade, I got that first, allows you to keep all your cursor upgrades between rebooting, since I already maxed it, it's already perfect & I can go through the game with minimal effort, then I focused solely on Increasing RAM Amounts to maximize upgrading faster in the long run, then my next was to focus on Keeping Machine Upgrades then after that I focused on Keeping Machines, with my logic there, getting machines is really easy, so keeping the upgrades which are more costly was far better than just having the machines
Note: Based on how I play these types of games, that's how I generally do things, I take generally the slow route but maximize for the long run, I find that fun, despite going with the hardest mode, with higher costs & such, it still felt like a decent amount of Dopamine, except when you reach the Digital Age Machines then the slowness starts to hit for the 3rd mode, with the last machine only having 12 total machines & being the lowest chance for Mega Jackpots was me just ignoring every other machine & focusing on them
Outro
Really was a fun game for me, may have to restart & play on the first mode to get the maximum dopamine & see how fast it really compared to the 3rd grindier mode & maybe opt to focus more on idler than active if I can help it since I'll know the path to idle & thanks to the Devs for continuing to update & fix the game so that everyone can have a fun & smooth experience

Super addicting and fun incremental game. The slot machine mechanics are soo satisfying and makes you want to keep going. It's also great on idle and very well balanced. Took me around six arounds to get all the achievement, with 1-2 hours of idling and the rest with active play.
There was a huge thing that bothered me that I hope can be fixed. Every time you change tabs to another all of the dropdown menus close themselves, and you have to reopen them all over again. I had re-open the tabs over a hundred times during my playthrough.
Another complaint is I had way too many cosmetic tickets by the end and I kept winning them. It's fine if there aren't too many cosmetics but it would be nice to have a dead currency to use somewhere else, like being able to convert it to money if we don't need it anymore. There was also no achievement for unlocking all the cosmetics so it wasn't satisfying to do so.
Finished? Yes
Steam Achievements? Easy
Steam Deck? Really difficult. I did it, but you absolutely cannot use the touch pad and can only use the touch screen. The mouse goes wild otherwise.
Rating? 9/10 - would've been a favorite if not for the steam deck issues and quality of life stuff.

I really like incremental games but the amount of clicking this one requires in the first hours of gameplay is enough to trigger RSI symptoms.

Fun but games like this seriously need to stop sticking the last achievement behind a length of time that is half or more of what it takes to get the other ones. 29 achievements done in 5 hours, 3 more hours to get the 30th. Even on the buffed difficulty it is painfully slow and you do literally nothing but sit there. You can let it idle in the background but that would almost double the time it takes to around 6 hours for a single achievement. It is a very stupid thing that is done to falsely boost metrics and I would like it to stop.
