There is a lot to say about this film. First of all, I would like to mention that this is a film that wasn't made by a big name studio. That doesn't mean it's bad though. I feel like the story and concept had and still has an amazing amount of potential. However this is a film that was made on a low budget, and it suffers from that sadly. I will say that there is a certain charm about films made on low budgets. For instance, in the beginning, the movie you are greeted with the main character and a nice long stargaze followed by a car ride. The reason that this is so amazing here vs big name productions is the camera position. Because there is a cameraman instead of some drone with a camera attached to the thing it just feels more human. This combined with the music in the background allows the piece to bleed with emotion and feelings I can only get when stargazing myself. That charm is what made this movie for me. As you would expect this fades away as the film goes on, however, the fact that it's there at all is an amazing thing that big names like Disney can't even do. Overall, a neat little film worth checking out, just don't expect that much.

Awesome headtrip indie sci-fi. Short, sweet and to the point and boasts one of the best soundtracks I've ever seen in a film. It's available on Spotify if you wanna check it out. Also, really dug their latest film Blood of the Tribades, which is playing film festivals right now. Euro-vampire lesbian amazingness. These two are filmmakers to watch out for.

I love time travel movies, in fact I am a time travel group host, its the reason I bought this film. I seek out every time travel film/short film and watch them, regardless if they are low budget, big budget, amateur or professional films.
Sadly, this was so so very tedious and utterly sleep inducing for the first half hour but I manage to stick with it all the way if only out of neccessity, being a TT fan.
The only thing keeping me watching (whilst battling the urge to nod off), is the excellent indie 80s style soundtrack. I actually really enjoyed the soundtrack, I will be seeking out some of the tracks given on the end credits links.
But the film could so easily have been edited down to a more 15-20 minute short film. Instead, we have a series of music videos, played in complettion to our protoganist driving around, or walking in a building, or staring into thin air...and then again on repeat. I get art. I get slow burn. But this is excessive and excruciatingly tedious. Things happen from the half hour point and a new fun quirky character enters the scene. The lead actress is very monotonous but I am not holding that against her, as it actually serves the narrative, somewhat. However, a film like this which heavily focuses on one lead character to carry the movie really needs a more compelling performance, though. The actress is clearly not of the ability to carry such a film.
This is clearly very amateur work on the whole but despite my "tedious" criticism, it has my respect for its efforts to narrate an interesting "loop" style of time travel (despite the theme being done so many times, it feels as if this genre itself is trapped in a loop). There is a certain influence of Donnie Darko in some sequences which I liked. The conclusion is terribly unoriginal but at least makes the effort to give a clear message with additional scifi concepts mixed in.
All the best to the film makers, there is some talent here but they need to be mindful of pacing and keeping viewers engaged. Dont try to be too clever for the sake of art at the sacrifice of engaging the viewer.
If you are tolerant of amateur film making and want to support indie film making then give this a shot and be wary of the tedious pacing and amateur-ness. Perhaps you might be a fan of Primer (which I am not but I appreciate its complexity), then you might dig this.
If you are not so tolerant but in the mood for a serious time travel film then pass on this one and go for a more professionally made movie such as Looper, Donnie Darko, Butterfly Effect etc.
Personally, I always encourage everyone to make their own mind up and not to depend on reviews!
