A soundtrack that makes you wonder
The songtitles contain spoilers!
This soundtrack consisting of 19 tracks is truly amazing. 33 minutes of music composed by Chris Remo.
The game and soundtrack fit together like a glove. The music captures the atmosphere very well. What makes these pieces stand out so much is not only the music, but the silence in between the pieces while playing the game. When you're wandering in silence for minutes and you finally hear the sound of music it gives you chills.
Some pieces are relaxing and calm, like Prologue and Camp Approach, but most pieces are rather eerie. Pieces like Beartooth Point or Shoshone Overlook really make you think and wonder that you're not alone. Other pieces like Something's Wrong and Exfiltration are very suspenseful. These are played during the more action packed scenes in the game. Last but not least we have a song called Ol' Shoshone which serves as a little easter egg that you can find in the game.
While the soundtrack works perfectly in-game, listening to it separately is a bit strange (unless you really enjoy suspenseful music)! You receive the music both in mp3 and flac format.
I think Firewatch already has a pretty good name in the walking simulator world. This game definitely belongs in my list of favorite games and I will keep an eye out for Chris Remo and Campo Santo in the future!
A relaxing album dominated by light guitar strums.
Keep in mind that the album length is about 33 minutes while the game runtime is 3-4 hours. The majority of the game relies upon silence with interspersed moments of music for dramatic effect. Listening to the entire album in a Wall-to-Wall format is a bit incongruous with the actual game experience.

Good soundtrack. Most tracks are suitable for listening separately and more than a bit enjoyable. Congratulations to Chris Remo for a wonderful job. It really feels like a steal for only 5 EUR.

Awesome soundtrack and it comes with lossless audio files that range from 500-600kps which is a massive bonus!

Quite an atmospheric soundtrack, though sometimes creepy. If you liked the original game and want to support the composer - buy it. Otherwise, more than half of compositions you won't really listen out-of-the-game. The rest half is just a light country, which is great, but it's much easier to buy a compilation of something like that, rather than search for it in this soundtrack.

Are you kidding me?! Almost EACH ONE of so-called "High-Quality" tracks in FLAC from here is upsampled from MPEG source! Only the last one - "19 - Firewatch OST - Ol' Shoshone" - is transparent 16 bit/44 kHz CD quality! Same case scenario with Deezer by the way. Campo Stuido or whoever posted this, you've released two vinyl editions of this score, can you, please, at least take gamers seriously?

Chris Remo, an amazing artist.
After "Gone Home"s great soundtracks now he gave life to "Firewatch"..
We don't see creative guys like him in these days.
He's a bright light on his job.

Awesome soundtrack. I love the creative cover artwork which is super clever. Also, thank you for distributing FLAC versions in addition to MP3 with this soundtrack on Steam!

Just a thought, the screenshot of the soundtrack looks amazing, so why not make a music player visualiser based on the screnshot? It'd look amazing.
The soundtrack is fantastic, not since The last of us have I heard something so good.
