Worth it. Worth it way too much. If could be a bit more pricey even.

This was the PERFECT opportunity to introduce metal lockers into the game... especially with that school level. I'll be waiting!

I’ve been playing House Flipper 1 and 2 for a long time, and this expansion was fantastic. Highly detailed environments, beautiful buildings, lush gardens, and simply incredible scenery. I’m captivated and eager for another expansion in this style.

honestly this is the worst dlc ever, trying to get the K.O achievement to impress all buyers is literally impossible. I have spent so many hours trying to do this, followed guides, read discussions, etc and there are certain buyers that are just never impressed no matter what I do. I have never been so frustrated with a game in my life. Also there are only 5 jobs and they weren't even that great especially for the price of this dlc.

I don't think I have ever been more frustrated in a game that's supposed to be relaxing before this DLC came out. The K.O achievement doesn't work with Co Op so you have to do everything twice (YES INCLUDING ALL THE JOBS SO YOU CAN EVEN BUY THE HOUSES), to top it all off they made the Buyers extra picky and you do exactly what they ask and want and it never works. Even confirmed with Guides and its exactly how it should be but its not taking it. Please never make a DLC like this again, please don't ever add achievements like this again. Total time I spent on just 3 houses from the DLC trying to get the K.O achievement is probably close to 15 hours and I feel like I want to uninstall the game and never look back. Kind of mind blowing this DLC has mostly positive reviews tbh. To top it all off, the price of this DLC for just 4 jobs is kinda crazy.

I'd really wanted to like this DLC. It just very flat for a full-price DLC for the game. Only 4 flip jobs in the email, only 1 of the 7 properties added to the selection you can buy is a residential property, and half of the properties added to the DLC are JUST lots. I get that the Sakura DLC dropped simultaneously with the Buyers 2.0 update and some additional lots you can purchase from the base-game but it's really disappointing as someone who primarily enjoys the actual house flipping elements of the game. The items added with the DLC, while wide in variety, mostly have limited use-cases. I haven't found myself using a whole lot of the items Sakura added outside of the Sakura properties. I've been working on turning a flip into an antique store long-term and even in that I've been struggling to find ways to effectively integrate the items added with this DLC. I'd recommend this if it weren't $15USD. But between the limited number of properties added and not adding any additional gameplay elements, I don't think I'd consider this worth the full $15. This would be more fair to compare to the $10 HGTV DLC from the first game in terms of content added.

Unfortunately a no from me on this one. Possibly they set the bar too high with the Scooby Doo DLC but this is just nothing compared to that. It's visually very attractive but the actual game play content is so minimal I got through it in a couple of hours. I didn't need an overarching plot like they gave us in Scooby Doo but it's just 5 jobs of very superficial work and 3 easy assemblies. Disappointed. EDIT: changed jobs from 4 to 5, genuine typo. The assemblies are tiered and the 3 they added are literally in the easy tier. This DLC is the same price as the Scooby Doo one and sill feels about half the size to me. Also since I'm adding things the KO achievement has genuinely now soured me on the whole DLC and by the way? Stop adding achievements with every new DLC, repeatedly 100% a game feels like it's taking the mick.

I want to recommend but I was rather disappointed at how.. short the DLC is/feels. It was also a bit buggy for me, so regardless I'd wait for an update or two if minor hiccups/bugs ruin game play for you. The aesthetic is nice, the entire time I was like, 'dang this is pretty,' the jobs (to me) are fun even if there's only a handful. I just wish there was a little bit more to do outside of buying/flipping/building, haha! Also I am one of those who doesn't care for the 'build it yourself,' I prefer prefab houses to //flip// so another empty lot is oof for me but I hope worthwhile for those who enjoy that kind of thing!

I really wanted to like this DLC, and there are things I did like. It's a beautiful world, but it just fell flat to me. I haven't finished it and I always finish House Flipper games, but this one and Scooby Doo has me wondering if the franchise is still for me. A few reasons I say this: 1) House Flipper 1 often made the design elements feel like a puzzle, You'd have a lot of furniture to fit and have to figure it out, it took a long time sometimes and sometimes it got frustrating. Most of the rooms were just like "here's a chair, a painting and a light to hang from the ceiling - and you're done." It was the same with the actual remodelling on jobs. It was almost exclusively cleaning and picking up trash, and you might add a little bit of paint on half of one of the walls instead of redoing the entire room. In the onsen, it just feels repetitive and boring. Cleaning and picking up trash aren't why I buy these games, I like the decorating challenges. I felt like with Scooby Doo, they relied too heavily on puzzles for keys instead of the old-school puzzle of figuring out where all the furniture was going to fit. It's just too easy and gets repetitive and boring. 2) One some of the jobs, it was putting dark wood furniture in a room with dark wood floors and honestly, you couldn't even see the furniture or what you were doing half the time. The rooms were too dark even with lights in them. 3) There are big jobs with many rooms, but most of the time you do very little with them. The schoolhouse job was probably the best of the bunch, but I would have still liked to have had to paint the walls or change the flooring rather than just clean, pick up trash and add some furniture. Some rooms you just had to add toilet paper and left as is, which felt a little lazy to me. I miss having to do complex bathrooms, not just - leave them as is. Which is what you do with a lot of them. I just want more challenge and more to do. The game just feels empty to me compared to the older ones, but I don't want to go back to the old ones because the design elements are so much better here. But I like to play jobs and I feel like House Flipper is lagging on giving us challenging decorating jobs and maybe focusing more on sandbox mode, which is fine - but it really isn't the game for me. I am hopeful that Pets will bring more, and that one day, maybe in a few years, we will finally get to put down grass and work in the gardens. For now, I guess we get a cartoonish pack that focuses too much on finding keys and a pack that, in my opinion, just feels repetitive and empty. I feel really bad saying this because I've been such a huge fan of these games for so long and I want them to do well, but I hope maybe the developers see the feedback and make future packs more worthwhile.
