Plight of the Zombie Reviews
We are tired of all of these zombie games designed for those apathetic people who just want to kill poor, innocent zombies all the time. They're just hungry!

Recommended! Fun little game. Not as brainless (haha I pun) as I thought - you actually have to think about your moves. Lots of fun!

An interesting concept, in the saturated Zombie genre, helps Plight of the Zombie stand out as a fun puzzle game. Minor control issues are outweighed by what it has to offer and for £3.99 i would highly reccomend it for anyone into puzzle games or zombies!
Pros
- Great humor and charm
- makes you care about Zombies
- Ineresting Puzzle concepts
- varying gameplay elements (Zombies with unique abilities)
- Can outfit Zombies with cool hats!
Cons
- Controls can be a little awkward and fiddly at times.

A bit of fun puzzler.
You are the zombie, trying to grab all the brains before they time out. But people keep trying to shoot you.
Humans are the worst. :(
Grab a live meat bag to convert him into a zombie and use them as a zombie shield against the gun fire.
Nice twist on a classic genre.

I have made some good experiences with ports of mobile games.
Games that were actively supported, expanded and optimized
for the PC/Mac.
Plight of the Zombie is not one of these games.
While initially charming in regards of artstyle and music,
the charme wears thin quiet fast and the soundtrack
becomes quiet monotonous. Especially when you
are repeating a level becuase the tablet optimized
controls got you stuck. Again. And again.
Until this day path finding and crash issues
have not been addressed. Seing as these issues
persist since February and there has been no reaction
from the developer's side, neither on the steam forums
nor on their official channel, the best bet is that this
game will unfortunately be offered 'as it is'.
The in-game opitions are limited to turning the
sound on and off. There is no volume option.
Graphics wise you have the option to turn
fullscreen on or off. That's it. That are your options.
The lack of options might be overlooked if there
were other strengths in which regard the game
would shine.
As for the quality of the puzzles, if you have been
playing puzzle games some time between to original
gameboy days and today, there's a high chance of a
been-there-done-that feeling setting in, in the course
of the first ten levels.
The tutorial still has the example finger that
advocates to slide your cursor for movements.
For a sale between 70% to 90% off this might
have the potential to be a little timewaster.
But honestly, with the host of indie games
out there, I'm not sure if you want to invest
time in this, even just to have a look if it
might be up your alley.
I won't stop you from trying it though.
But I won't recommend to do so either.
An irritating tidbit from the credits.
They seem to have been taken one
to one from the tablet version. As
there are many thanks mentioned
to a mobile app advertising platform.
edit:
I'll just leave a link to a game here, that has
been released by the same developer in the meantime:

Until they decide to fix the god aweful pathing of the Zombie I don't recommend this game. I Really like the look and feel of this game, and really the pathing is the biggest downfall of this game.
Imagine clicking and dragging a dotted line from your zombie to it's attack point, lining everything up nicely, you get halfway through the map and realise inorder to get the last guy you must zig zag inbetween 8 obsticals placed very close together. You only have one Gaint left and two little guys, there is only the Blonde female with the faster firing 6 shot pistel. You draw your line, it seems like the pathing will be good and then your giant gets stuck on the first corner and your little guys rush out and get killed. Well crap, now you have to restart over. You get to the same point but this time you make sure the big guy doesn't get stuck and now your little guys got stuck on corner 2 and 3, Big guy went down and now the little guys are dead too. Okay restart again. You get to the same point but this time you take 3 minutes slowly drawing the line to make sure that they won't get stuck. They get stuck. FML
