OMSI 2 Add-On Mallorca DLC

2026 REVIEW: Having read the early reviews of "Mallorca", one must think "stay away" because it's Mostly Negative and I'm sure that the Add-On route had a rough start. But here we are in 2026, and I'm just going to put my thoughts about "Mallorca" that is set in the beach region of Balearic Islands along the Platja de Palma cities Palma, Can Pastilla, El Molinar S’Arenal. I feel that this add-on gives great value at under $10 when on sale and it also makes a great add-on for those who want to play the game and learn. For those with busy schedules, there are quick routes. But there are some long ones as well. But this is an add-on that really goes around the island area and is pretty much a good value. Where else can you find a lot of tourists, airport, hotels and with plenty of AI cars and people. But also narrow roads which you want to make sure you are not going too fast. GRAPHICS: OMSI 2...a 2013 software. While some have been able to squeeze whatever they can from this old school software, "Mallorca" is 2013. Don't compare it to OMSI 2 releases of today such as "Thuringer Wald" and the upcoming "Numazu" DLC's. This is an old school Add-on. The good news is that for those using potato computers it's not as memory intensive nor does it take a ton of hard drive space. I do recommend making sure you use the performance guide as featured on STEAM because this is a 2013 32-bit software. Most modern computers are for modern games featured on high ultra resolution. You do not want to use modern settings for an older game like this, let alone older DLC. I have not had any problems with textures either. BUS: You get a solo bus and an articulated bus but one of the benefits is being able to use a variety of buses offered on OMSI 2 on this island. SOUNDS: Pretty cool to have people who come aboard and greet you with "Guten Tag"! and also recorded announcements! How awesome is that! TESTED AND WORKS: Power Tools, AUXI, Busbetriebe-Simulator, OmniNavigation. For OMSI 2, I always feel Busbetrieb-Simulator aka Bus Company Simulator and OMSI 2 work great! The Map HUD is so important, especially for this game as OMSI 2's yellow pointers is iiterally pointing you to disaster. COUNTERING: Let's counter some reviews. One wrote it's a single route that can't be finished because it lags terribly. I have not had this issue. And I also want to remind people, don't buy into these "lags" terribly without them announcing what kind of computer they are running and also graphics card and RAM. Also, you want to run the 4GB file for OMSI2 at all times and I also recommend using the guide on performance that is featured on STEAM! Remember this is a 32-bit software that was made for people back in 2013 back when Windows 7 was used. JUDGMENT CALL: When on sale, great deal at under $10. Great for those who are just learning, those who are on a budget and those who want a more island, scenic add-on route with buses. Sure, there are "Mostly Negative" and these are many people who didn't even update their review and those who enjoy the free mods or have moved on to bigger and better, more modern DLCs. That's fine but in 2026, separate the old hype and It's a fun add on. If you are new to OMSI 2, give this one a try! I know in this day and age of great graphics and high resource intensive games, some may feel anything released between 2013-2019 is just too old and stick with 2020-and up. When it comes to classic simulators that still have a loyal following "OMSI 2" and "Train Simulator Classic" has a ton of support from modders all over the world. Is "Mallorca" the best add on for "OMSI 2"? Of course not. But for paid Add-On at under $10, it's a darn great deal and I enjoyed it.
