I love the way this game looks. It's sort of sickeningly nightmarish.

I have to say that Quote does need a little bit of polish, but from what I saw while making my First Impressions video I was quite impressed. A solid art style with an interesting take on gameplay. A few framerate drops and some mild design oversights, but there is definitely a good, solid title in here. Although, to be honest, this may appeal more to the child market than it would adults. That is not a negative in my eyes, merely an observation.
This is definitely one Early Access game I will be keeping my eyes on.

Wow the art for this game is without a doubt an absolute treat to the eyes! it really sets the mood for the journey in the game and I love the characters in it. The game is till in development and so far I havent seen any bugs which is usually the case with early releases. Really enjoyng it and cant wait to see how far they take this game. Love it!

The strengths of this game are undoubtably the gorgeous (and highly original) artwork and story. It has a unique atmosphere which is refreshing and charming. It has shades of Journey and old school elements - remember those old Isometric games? Looks like each level has been hand-crafted. The music adds to this - very nice.
The gameplay has real potential - there are some brilliant ideas and mechanics that are interesting. Like you can throw this book and where it lands, you instantly teleport to that location. This allows you to get across ravines etc. It has elements of action, puzzle and story telling all in one.
Looking forward to seeing the gameplay elements get more polished when it is finished but this is definitely one to watch!

A truly unique storyline with extraordinary detail in the drawings.
With charm and wit the different characters come to life throughout the game.
Loving playing Quote so far.
Highly recommended!

A very cute, good narrative driven game, with an interesting art style (even in the UI). Top down.
The voice-over and dialogue is impressive from audio and quality point of view. It's written well and with a fairy tale feel it seems charming and delicate, almost sensitive.
The story is engaging and deep, with an emotional touch.
Gameplay is unique and introduces some peculiar elements of 'teleportation' over short distances. Rpg-esque skill progression available.
Performance is just about okay for an EA game with a few bugs here and there. Nothing game breaking.
Insofar the game looks a bit unpolished, something seems amiss, the movements are not completely smooth and sometimes the UI seems clunky, just a bit of polishing is required and hopefully over the next few months everything will improve, the story will be added to and all the useful feedback by the customers will be heeded.
A good attempt, I truly hope the developers execute this lovely concept properly. They have a solid base and can make a very good product of this.

There is a serious lack of reviews on this game, and I'm hoping to fix a bit of that. So, to give a tl;dr version: I do recommend this game, but it is ok to wait a bit. The game has an interesting sense of storytelling. Also, the art itself in the game is wonderfully weird. Reminds me a lot of the movie Mirrormask. The gameplay itself is good, with some interesting puzzle-elements, and some simple, but fun, combat. I know my hours isn't a lot, but I'll update the review down the line.

This is a beautiful game, full of promising ideas, so it sucks that Vindit seems to have given up on it. A check on Quote's website indicates that the game was supposed to leave Early Access in 2018, having been released with its first three chapters and the Infinite Library (fighting arena) mode available. As of now, nine months later (the time it takes for a living, breathing infant to be formed from nothing but an egg and some dude-juice), I've seen no additional content added, and moreover, the prologue won't even properly load, so I have no real idea how this STORY-DRIVEN game begins. And I don't think I'll ever know how it ends. Maybe it is partially our fault as consumers, for not pouring money into this admittedly ambitious project early on, but Early Access is meant to be a place where serviceable products are made better, not a place where the majority of a game's story is held hostage until a critical mass of cashflow is reached. So I'll buy this thing again (I got a refund) when there's some real development made, but I'm entirely willing to accept that progress is unlikely.
