No inventory management system, awful controls, nearly impossible to cross a river, sickness and hunger fill way too quickly. This game needs A LOT of work. Do not waste your money.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely hilarious and addictive!
I picked this game up on a whim and honestly didn't expect much. A few hours later, my friends and I were laughing so hard we could barely breathe.
The game perfectly captures the feeling of a dangerous pioneer journey where absolutely everything can go wrong. Disease, storms, lightning strikes, broken wagons, dead oxen, dangerous river crossings, limited supplies... every expedition turns into its own unique story.
One of our runs ended with all of my teammates dead, my ox killed by lightning, my wagon falling apart multiple times, and my character suffering from several diseases. Instead of giving up, I gathered everyone's remaining supplies, tied a rope to the wagon, and dragged it through a canyon on foot during a thunderstorm until I reached the checkpoint. Moments like that are unforgettable.
The game is challenging, sometimes brutal, occasionally unfair, but always entertaining. Success feels earned, and failure usually creates a story you'll be talking about long after the run is over.
The developers also seem to listen to feedback and are already adding quality-of-life improvements, which is always great to see in Early Access.
If you enjoy survival games, co-op chaos, Oregon Trail vibes, and creating ridiculous stories with friends, give this game a chance.
Just don't get too attached to your ox.

I suck at this game and I love the fact that I do! Every death, every bad situation I end up in, every fart, and my ability to always end up naked is hilarious. The wagon inventory is a lil funky if you put stuff up near the place where you sit, but I posted it in the discord and they are already looking into it. That kind of community awareness means a lot. I look forward to seeing what else they add as far as content. I would really like to see player collision with the wagon so we can run over each other.

Promising game. Very glitchy and still has a lot of bugs. Too many to count. These are what my group and I have experienced:
-Sometimes getting off the wagon after riding it will cause the wagon to launch and explode.
-Sometimes the wagon just launches itself and explodes.
-Aiming needs to be better. Cannot kill deer or bears at times.
-Oxes will sometime glitch into the floor for the front two. If you hitch additional oxes to the back, they sometimes disappear or run off. They may or may not come back. pathfinding needs to be fixed for them.
-Sometimes clothes will just explode.

Friends died, fell sideways off a cliff after wedging between two rocks, wound up sliding into a crevasse and the camera zoomed in to my crevice until I died. 10/10.

TRAIL & ERROR
funny and chaotic game; wasnt expecting to enjoy that this much xD
amazing with company; pretty map; great tunes and PET THAT CAT
only issue was trying to do some achievements; would unlock a few just so my duo didn't?
no matter; slight patch would fix that;
will probably dive in 1 lonely day to finish this 100%
but GG

I played it with some friends and we laughed hella hard. Didn't know I could fling my friend off an entire cliff by just crashing the wagon. The developer has fixed some of the issues already, such as other players not being able to use the wagon. We did it without any problems with 4 people. It's not an expensive game, so I think it's worth it just for the occasional laugh (it's also early access so I don't expect a near perfect game to begin with).
The disease rates are a bit fast, but I saw in the community they are working on that. The hardest puzzle so far has been to get a wagon across a big river. We're still trying to sort that one out.
My general critiques would be small ones (not game changers):
Tombstones shouldn't block the wagon. If someone dies under it, the wagon gets stuck. So no only do you lose a person, and set of hands, but now you have to walk the whole way. Maybe we can make the tombstone transparent or ghost like, similar to the ghosts? Also makes it stand out more.
A few of our deaths have seemed inaccurate? Someone died from falling but they hadn't fallen at all, as an example.
I would add an option, perhaps, that when your health is getting dangerous or something, your screen has aberration along the edge or some such. There is a lot to keep track of, so it makes it harder to look down at your health (could also try moving the health bar above the person's head or a more visual place. I found I rarely looked down, especially when I was driving.
I tried shooting the NPCs for meat. I could not. I am sad. That was easy food. ;-)
I would add a speed buff to the buffalo when they aren't pulling the wagon. Otherwise it's just easier to run on foot when your wagon is gone. If this seems too much normally, easy mode could provide those buffs.
Maybe add a dog as a purchasable item to scare off bison or bears? If it gets lost, it doesn't die, it just runs off or something.
So far that is what I have. These aren't game breakers or huge changers to me. I'd still play the game without them, but I think it would be a nice change of pace. Ok maybe not killing npcs, but the rest of it.
Looking forward to seeing what else crops up!

Too buggy playing multiplayer. The other players aside from the host can't ride the wagon without it exploding.
