20 mins. YOU GET 20 MINS WORTH OF GAMEPLAY ON THE NEW MAP. For half the price of the main game, which took me 10 hours. RIDICULOUS! Couldn't even use all the spells and skills you've learned from the main game. Oh, and if you die, you have to redo the whole level. Not that it's long....

One of my favorite expansions of all time for one of my favorite games of all time. Magicka: Vietnam does exactly what it sets out to do; it transplants Aldrheim's sociopathic wizards and downtrodden goblins into one of the most infamous wars in United States history, completely disregarding every ounce of "logic" or "reason" that the original Magicka might have kept hidden in a closet somewhere.
Vietnam offers the essentials for any small-scale expansion pack. A robe to wear that's set apart from the rest, a new magick that'll put the fear of God in you (and your friends), a challenge map that puts most others to shame in difficulty, and a campaign that's not too long and not too short. While Vietnam is by no means groundbreaking for Magicka, it's an absolute blast to play and gives the player a satisfying arsenal of period-accurate firearms to anachronize the living daylights out of their opponents.
If you're looking for more Magicka or you want an expansion to add on to your purchase, Vietnam is a solid choice.

As with all Paradox DLC, buy it on sale.
It's basically a free-roam level, and a standard challenge level.
Everyone has rifles, machine guns, mordors, or RPGs.
Still haven't beat the main level.
Just a hint; if you pick the Crusader skin, you are immune to bullets.
The music is cool though :D

This DLC was a pretty boring and forgettable experience - the main course is a short campaign map with a lot of bland open space areas, hardly any enemy variety and an arcade-style list of dull tasks. The only fun part about this DLC is it adds a new Magick and a bunch of guns for Challenge and Versus modes.

Would like a refund for the please, the base game does not work at all and I had to download an older version just to get past the training dungeon, only for the game to crash again when I was outside killing goblins.
Extremely frustrating.. I have wanted to play this since I first saw screenshots around a decade ago and now that i have spare time to do so I cannot. Requested a refund for the base game but there was no option to request a refund for this.

I won't lie, this DLC gave me a good laugh and I found it hilarious. But let's get real – it's only 8 minutes long and they're charging 5 euros for it... No thanks. It's a bit too steep for such a short experience, even if it's entertaining.

Ah yes, the forgotten clash between G.I. Wizards and Communist Goblin forces that took place in the jungles of Vietnam. Excluded from textbooks simply because it's "Fake" and "Made up by a developer for an elaborate joke".
But really, this DLC is pretty fun and worth the price so long as you have friends to play it with.

I only bought this DLC for the M16. And the AK47. But also the RPG.
Oh, and I forgot the RPK. Hum, I admit that I wanted the Napalm strike too.
Ok I bought it for all the guns and the Vietnam theme.

You love Magicka, and you love blowing things up, and all the great chaos of messing with your friends. Take that, add a machine gun and napalm. Yeah, this was probably the best idea ever.
