Just finished a play-through of this on my Youtube channel (link at end of review for anyone interested in seeing a gameplay sample before buying), so here are some thoughts. I've had this game in my Steam library for years, but kind of forgot about it and have only just got around to playing it now. Sadly, Blood Stone doesn't appear to be available on the Steam store anymore, which sucks - because overall, I'd say it's a decent, enjoyable third-person cover shooter. Whilst the story itself isn't anything special and the twists are predictable, Blood Stone isn't necessarily trying to be an innovative game in terms of story or gameplay. Instead the devs arguably chose to focus upon making a solid, functional game with tried-and-tested mechanics - and it worked. The gameplay of Blood Stone is swift and it's fun, and at times there's a bit of challenge with plenty of enemies swarming you and keeping the player on their toes. The third-person cover mechanics work well, the shooting works well, and the vehicle chase sections you frequently encounter are also pretty fun. Furthermore, the game itself isn't that long - less than 10 hours in total, so it doesn't overstay its welcome. Also, as someone who loves gorgeous level designs and scenery that you can spend ages just gazing at and admiring, I also do rate this game positively. Even though it's a 2010 game and naturally the graphics aren't going to be the most cutting-edge anymore, I still think Blood Stone is a visual treat. I enjoyed the scenery in levels such as Monaco, Siberia and Bangkok, to name just a few. So if you enjoy Daniel Craig-era Bond movies and you get an opportunity to grab a copy of this game somewhere (most likely it will have to be a physical copy given it's not on Steam anymore), then I definitely recommend it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43M6-zdjZ1c&list=PL05Yc3_TEBpN9DPgcdBoIunwc7lzCsByL&index=8
