The game is very bad. It switches too quickly between the mini games and the music, which was turned down, was automatically turned up extremely loud. Money lost, too bad...

this game's not bad, but it's just not... quite good enough? it lacks a certain something-something. I dunno. if you're looking for a fun party game, I'd recommend one of these, instead: * Tricky Towers * Ultimate Chicken Horse * Stick Fight: The Game * Drawful 2 * Genital Jousting

This is a bad game. I recommend you buy it as you can write a bad review. Let me explain... I launched the game on a cold windy night, I changed the aspect ratio/resolution because wtf why was it 4:10? A loud noise could be heard, the menu man was speaking randomly. It was too loud, the music was just too loud for my sensitive ears. I changed the volume from 100% to 2% and I launched a session where my friend joined me. I went to the toilet and came back to the game auto-launching? I wasn't ready! We played the first 2 minigames which lasted about 2 minutes total, where we both realised we didn't know what we were doing as the controls were not usual controls. I hit escape hoping to look at the controls as normally games have an escape menu with options, controls etc. but it only allowed me to continue the game or go to main menu. I clicked to go to main menu and a loud shout frightened me and I hit the quit button at the bottom by mistake! Fight or flight took over and I guess I flew? I Got the hell outta dodge! I relaunched the game to find the audio settings had returned to 100% (but the aspect ratio was fine!) so that shits loud again. I changed the settings back and we tried playing a game just the two of us (before there was 2 bots as well as me and my friend). We ended up playing the same games we played originally and he won because I died. The full game time lasted about 5 minutes, (no I'm not exaggerating). It went back to the menu where I was yet again frightened the loud man was back, the audio went back to 100% and what can I say I'm a 5"3 Australian girl that scares easy. Both me and my friend changed the audio yet again to be 2% and then went to look at the controls where it didn't show us what they were it just asked us if we wanted to rebind. So we did that, and one by one it was like "Press button for Jump" so like a normal human, I clicked space. It asked for a fire button so naturally, mouse 1 right? Nah uh! this game doesn't like the mouse i mean I don't like mice either, they plagued my bedroom for years but god dammn. I had to bind it to E! Have you ever tried to use WASD to move around and use E to fire? that shit craay crayy. Look All I'm sayin is, I lost a lot of games very quickly and I don't feel fulfilled. I lose all the time at Pummel Party but that shits fun. I know this probably sounds like a joke of a review, but it's not. Every word is true, even the part about me being a girl gamer except I'm 5"2, soz I couldn't lie to you anymore. (btw the action button was ctrl to begin with wtf) Anyway, this game was $3 and I got about 10 minutes of enjoyment out of it and those ten minutes were writing this review so I think money well spent. Do what you want, this game sucks Pummel party is better play that but like also if you choose to buy this game, say hi to the menu man for me x The games are not fun. They are too quick and too repetitive. There's like 5 games and they all didn't explain how to play at all. (See Pummel party for a better party game). This game is not user friendly and boring.

It's a really fun party game with little minigames similar to some of those you'd find in Mario Party. The point of each one is to get as much treasure as possible. There are 4 characters now (at the start of Early Access) with a variety of colors to choose from. It's still in development but plays great and the visuals are fantastic! Basically how the game plays out is you play a minigame, but partway through it, you switch to another one. If you die in one minigame, you are out of that one but will still keep playing in the other ones. There will sometimes appear a really big treasure idol that's worth a ton so it's worth trying to get your hands on. You can play Local, With Friends (this is how you can play with your buddies), and Online with other random people. The matches can be longer or quick but are usually around 5-10 minutes on average. Overall, a ton of fun and easy to get into! Also the devs are awesome and very quick to respond to questions about the game! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great family friendly party game for all ages! 10/10

Its a pretty fun game but there are a lot of issues, items not appearing in game and 2 levels are missing the floor. Its pretty obvious that the Devs have abandoned this game. Could have been an awesome party game.

You get what you pay for and this really didn't cost a lot... Pros - Some of the characters are designed okay - Was genuinely surprised it didn't crash at any point Cons - Sometimes levels just wont load and everyone dies - Some weapons don't seem to exist and just wont show up when you select them - Gameplay has little to no variation - Bots just kinda give up after a while - Launches in letterbox mode for some reason

Fun party game with more than 10 different regimes. Online is empty, but you can play with bots (which behave sometimes rly strange sometimes) or with ppl via remote play. It's cheap, so don't expect much

If you have a few friends to play with, you can get at least an hour or two of fun out of this game, BUT you should be aware that there are some issues. If you're planning to play by yourself (including online), probably give it a pass - although I didn't try. Given the mixed reviews my friends and I really weren't expecting much, but we got it cheap on sale and were pleasantly surprised that we did actually have some solid fun with it, if only for a little while. Turns out that trying to grab all the treasure and then beating more treasure out of your friends while dodging hazards is a pretty good time. We played with it set to both Linear and Party Mode, by the way. On the other hand, some glaring issues were present. People sometimes get disconnected, and when they rejoin (which is at least possible) they're stuck as a ghost until the entire match is over. Matches don't go on too long, but it's still painful. As mentioned in other reviews, one of the minigames takes place on a map where either the floor is missing, or the spawn points are not set properly - you all appear over an open area and immediately fall to your deaths. That's just one, though, the rest are fine and generally enjoyable. The selection is a bit limited for a minigame-based game (there's no moving around a board or anything), there are maybe around 10 minigames and that one is bugged. There are also issues with character and weapon unlocks, I earned a character that was then not available to me, and we all earned weapons that could be selected, but remained invisible. The last issue is another big one - the game will wind up your CPU and/or GPU. I left it running awhile to earn all the card drops, and by the time I came back my computer sounded like a jet trying to take off. My machine is quite powerful, so it's not a requirements issue, and my friends all noticed the same problem with high processor usage while we were playing. Hopefully it's just bad code and not crypto mining... Anyway, despite all the issues we did have fun, so on the condition that you get it on sale, keep your expectations low and don't expect to enjoy it for a long time, I'll give it a recommendation anyway.

Shallow, repetitive, and really just not much fun. Play 10 minutes and you've experienced all this game has to offer, and it's unlikely it'll be enough to compel you to return for a rerun. Steam Link + Controllers supported. ---These issues have been fixed with a update--- + The sudden shifts between activities feels gimmicky, abruptly ending the action and feeling frustrating rather than the "sense of random chaos" the game boasts. There's no fun in splitting up an activity into pieces that are played out in short sprints. + There's comparisons being made to Mario Party and the like but this game doesn't offer that feeling at all. Imagine playing a Mario Party mini-activity where halfway through an activity it suddenly switched to another activity, made you play 1/3 of that 2nd activity, and then swapped to a new one, only to return to where you left off in the first activity with no sense of progress, accomplishment, or the build up of excitement. Update: The game now has an option to turn off random jumps between activities. It's a huge improvement, but the remaining issues still leave this a (now more hesitant) "Not Recommended" with my group. ---These issues persist--- - Now imagine that eliminated players could still repeatedly hit you and remove the points you've earned in a game, in a "juggling-style" manner where you can't escape their onslaught because they're invincible, making it impossible to win as the skilled player, instead leaving it to the player's (grudging) personal preference in who should win. - Even the activities feel unfinished. This game feels like an early access game, with activities having visual appeal but no polish to the gameplay. Each activity feels rushed to production, guided by attractive art alone, without thought to what makes an activity fun. 12 players at a "party games" event and not a single one of them enjoyed these activities. The agreement was they were shiny turds that were equal parts frustrating and boring. - The sounds are annoying. Imagine the high-pitched voices of cartoon characters repeated endlessly in every activity, making the same "hit" noises over and over until all you hear is "oof ah eeee oh umf eh eh oof" for the entire duration of play. The music might be tolerable (at best) but combined with the SFX it equals nothing more than noise. - It just doesn't cut it as an enjoyable party game, would never work as a "take that" competitive game, and just all over reeks of bad design and ineffective (if there was any) user experience playtesting hidden beneath an impressive (and grossly misleading) art budget. Pass on this one. Full out not recommended.
