I remember getting this game long time ago from my friend suggestion when developer sold this game in bundle pack with very cheap price for steam cards, stickers and badges farming which is indeed very good for those purposes.
But for the gameplay and content, I choose to not recommend this game with a lot of reasons.
- The main menu only have three buttons which are Newgame, Continue (lead to the saved file to continue playing them) and "Shutdown" button (Not sure why not use word "Exit game"). The main menu background is poorly made and dont have much meaning to the gameplay or story.
- Story: Very poor story (But I can see dev tried to type those story texts). You dont even need to know the story to play this game. It is just a dude wake up in a house-> some texts say zombie everywhere and no rule anymore->player go out and fight 1 "unholy dead"(dev use word unholy dead which I think mean zombie) then walk around map to grinding xp and find other member to help fight unholy-> find 1 shiny thing on the ground which will ask you if you want to re-roll the world and go back to the start house with all items, level and members. And that is it for the story.
- Graphic and npc: I believe that most of the characters are made from Pokemon reference such as Blue, Red, Peach? Not its own design. Graphic is ok. Your typical RPG maker map. I found out only 3 type of enemy units which are unholies which designs are all made from all NPC members but just add some dead eyes and blood and open mouth, werecars which are just cars with unholy's head at their front. Pyro necro which is unholy unit with little blue flame near its hand. I find the last two units' name to be very poorly made and designed. Even the game's achievement pics are all the same 1 type of unholy's art. Steam card and Steam background from game is very weird to me.
Detail: Very little details and informations in this game including stat meaning, weapon special, each survival specialty, food stat. But I think it is nice to have different tier of weapon such as pocket knife->kitchen knife->Excellent knife. But for shotgun and handgun there are no tier. And there is thing called AP (Action point?) on most of characters which cant be replenished once they are empty. But The only member I love is Doctor which when lvl up will use "SP" gauge instead that can be replenished with attack or get attacked and use them to in heal skill.
Dev: I see in steam discussion and dev's seem really friendly to all players' response but not active anymore on this game. I surely hope if dev come back to work on this game. dev will have potential to make it much better but I think he get a better thing to work on with his life right now:)
Other: There is Ghost mode (for beta mode I think) item in player inventory which can be used to walk though all enemy and obstacles with no encounter. This can help a lot of players do their achievements more easily. But kill 150 unholies achievements in one game save is still too much I think.
All in all, I still cant recommended this game in its status right now when compared to other RPG games.
