Absolutely insane, the music and atmosphere in the A New America mission feels like the 2022 Batman movie. Best DLC of them all, and I still have not beaten A New America.

Best DLC yet, the 3 new maps are each unique and pretty challenging, the only problem with the maps is the optimization.

They keep making these huge levels which tank your fps and have nothing more to offer than a single successful runthrough. Back then before the release there was a time where you had mission variations for levels which varied the gameplay of the current predetermined mission sets with more than 1 objective for each map. Was is realistic that you had the option for a bomb defusal mission in a gas station ? No. Was it fun though ? Yeah it was and it offered massive amounts of replayability for each mission. So, with these removed features they now once in a blue moon come out with a dlc with 3 missions when it could easily be 3 levels with 9 missions. The bank for example could easily offer a variation where it's still a robbery in progress and the robbers are still trying to empty the cash but I digress. So is this dlc worth it ? No. Never at full price. Considering that the dev team is censoring their product heavily I feel like no dlc will ever live up to what the game once had for a vision. Just a sad absolute waste of potential of an, what otherwise was, competent dev studio

Large, detailed, beautiful maps, challenging missions, interesting lore and missions with replay value thanks to all the achievements added. This DLC sets a high standard that i hope the following DLCs live up to.

Perfect, like always. But as I said in my reviews of the other DLCs, I think 3 missions is far too few. I think every DLC should include at least 5 missions. That aside, it's an amazing DLC overall, with great missions, some of which are especially challenging, time-consuming, and require a lot of awareness. I really enjoyed it, but again, only having 3 missions is a bit disappointing.

There are two Ready or Not fans, ones that love the conspiracy stuff and then there are the cowards. Look man, I get just wanting normal groups that hold people hostage but at some point, it gets old. The story has been going in this direction since A Lethal Obsession, to complain about it now is a self report that you haven't been paying attention. If you don't like conspiracy stuff in general, I get it, but I think it's a better story to continue on and tell rather than, ohhhh big group is trying to get revenge. Which is what the current group is but it has 2 layers, which makes it more interesting. Okay, now for the maps, they are all REALLY difficult, like these are some HARD maps. "No good deed" is an active shooter map in a beach walk theme park, so many gaps and long ranges that it's hard to get through while not getting shot up. It's really difficult but splitting up and equipping gas mask is a good tactic. "All Gods Burn" is a chaotic mess of a map, and I love it. I wanted a bank robbery mission and I got what I wanted, sort of. The gimmick is a large group is robbing the bank while a bunch of looters also fill the lobby, they all wear masks and such while you have no idea who has a weapon or not, very fitting for the game! "A New America" might be harder than "Greased Palms". There are trained soldiers that mow you down so fast and can stack up together. I had to retry this mission maybe 6 times, it's that difficult. I am not generally a fan of 3-4 story maps as I get lost so easily and the map kind of rushes you once you hit the device. Is it worth 10$? I don't know, 10 bucks is 10 bucks so if you got the money and want a real challenge, get it. If not wait for the sale.

i love the game, and dlc is good but this im sorry 10 euro for 3 maps with 1 single gamemode bcs "alternative gamemodes were removed so the game is more linear" -aka lazywork... they are getting lazier, charging more and providing less so .. yeah.. 1h of gameplay for 10 euro is way too much

At this point, this is no longer a SWAT milsim game. These last missions are practically in the same ballpark as early Iraq invasion Delta Force raids or a Spetsnaz GRU operation in Syria. My kit and apparel was a pre-set titled "Fallujah" by the very end and most of my team was running it. Armed with NVGs, silenced battlerifles and utilizing canted aiming via laser sights, we very much so were more military than simply paramilitary. Los Suenos is deadliest combat zone outside of Bakhmut and every faction involved has the collective, conspiracy-laden, tyrannical reactionary terror that once dominated the wars in Yugoslavia. Judge runs his wrecking crew like Umbrella Corps. I have a very complicated relationship with Ready or Not. I have been playing it on and off since its first early access release and I remember most of its variants very intimate. It is a game where, I am very openly opposed to its consolization and censorship, to the point the base game carries a negative review from me on this basis alone. However, I still very much so love the content and the unique experience that only Ready or Not can truly deliver in the modern age. The content is great, but my biggest problem lies within the developers themselves and the absolutely abysmal performance of the game on its infamous engine. I am happy to say that this DLC feels very redemptive, while it has lost some edge, the balls are all here and it really feels a bit like the old Ready or Not again, all while playing harder into its SWAT 4 influence and for the better. The game still can shock and deliver in a way few others can. Seeing blood pour from a man's throat due to a devastating neck shot is still visceral and shocking to see. And while I praised the game's previous versions for not including the heinously annoying and grimly funny, albeit realistic, gurgling and agonizing wailing that comes from people who just had their abdominal cavity penetrated with 5.56 ammunition point bless at a terminal velocity that is effectively armour piercing, but unfortunately, it seems that virtually everyone I shot in this recent playthrough of DLC missions exclusively made this sound. Sometimes even after having their face ventilated and turned into a strawberry brain pancake. For everything Ready or Not does right, it also punches itself in the balls. It may not be taking steps backwards as it did in previous updates, but it is still PIEing the door of a true legendary status when it has all the tools to actually breach loud and clear. It is just that it is overly cautious in compromising what the shareholders want while also coddling what was initially promised in its first renditions. This dance, a vicious tangle through rooms littered with spent casings, bloody decals, the occasional AI slop art asset and unlimited glowsticks, is unfortunate almost always in sub 90 FPS. This game has certainly looked and performed better, but has definitely lost a lot of visual fidelity even on high settings. The game already runs surprisingly poor on high spec and capable hardware, worsened only by the fact that playing this game on anything beyond 1080p is a recipe for suboptimal frames. And its a shame because playing this game in 1080p truly is a disjustice to how good it can actually look. The gameplay also feels slower than ever and while apart of this is intentional, the miserable pacing of some missions border on being incredibly unfun and unrewarding, especially when it comes down to just systematically clearing empty rooms with no evidence or perps. Ironically, the further Ready or Not moves away from the grounded police sim it slowly evolved into, the better it has become. Embracing the dark conspiracy stuff and actually having a genuine plot, moving it into a territory of milsim gameplay with a bit larger than life story, is definitely the one thing that will save this game. I like what they are cooking as long as its not served half cold and microwaved, as the last updates were. The dreaded, infamous console-release update, with its lame training mission and absolutely pitiful beyond ♥♥♥♥ two missions restored from the beta (admittingly, both these missions probably deserved to be axed in retrospect), has certainly soured me. But I will say, this DLC is its redeemer. The maps here are an operational nightmare, but do not feel like a completely nauseating tour of architectural sadism as some previous maps. I prefer running both my squads at once through areas in a linear sweeping fashion and while it makes some time sensitive objectives difficult, I felt that my procedural and more true to life (although, inappropriate in actual active shooter scenarios) operation MO was well rewarded. As of writing this now, I have yet to actually succeed in the final mission, which is the hardest of the game by a hundred times. But it is one of those cases where I actually think having failed the last objective, should have been a viable conclusion. I feel like Commander mode only sort of plays with this and simulates it, rather than enacting it actively. But ultimately, I had a far superior experience and lasting impression from letting something horrible happening and then having to work through the agonizing dismay of it to complete a sweep of the building. This DLC definitely tests your willingness to just absolutely ice people. I stand by my previous assessments that the game is not copaganda, especially as it endorses operational procedure that many American police are seemingly incapable of doing efficiently. And I do think this is a strong critique of such. But we play heavily into the militarization of the factions in Los Suenos, the personal failings of the alphabet triads and Judge's own men, but also, the political subtext of why these things are happening. Much like with the last DLC, someone on the dev team is a major 2077 fan and the pier mission holds strong resemblance to one of the cyberpsycho missions. Not only that, in another mission, 2077 graffiti slogans, such as the famous "no future" one, appears prominently. Cheeky and lovable. It truly is Ready or Not at its most deranged and I feel like if this is the end of the game, it ends very strongly. I think they have some more in store for us and in that regard, I have to applaud just how much content they do drip into us so steadily. I just hope gradually, we get more of the edge and balls back in future updates and expansions. The detail of the maps, as always, is absolutely stunning and honestly, I think the price more than justifies what you get out of it.

Do not buy unless on a sale. Be aware that SWAT AI on these missions mostly doesnt work. Search the room? They stay frozen. Breach and clear? Nothing. After some command-spamming you can 'unstuck' them but why do I even have to do that in the first place? Otherwise - Paying retail for just 3 missions is a joke. At least add something, I dont know. Weapons behind a pay wall? Something. And if not, then why am I paying this much for just 3 maps, because the AI and textures are basically the same but bring new issues to the game I have never had before. What justifies this being not included in the base game in the first place?
