Army Gals is one of the more interesting visual novels on Steam...
It has it's dull moments, but overall it's exciting. There's plenty of choices you can make, which will produce MULTIPLE different endings. Personally, I wouldn't try to "perfect" this game. All it takes is one wrong move, and the ending you're aiming for could be lost! So don't overthink it, and enjoy Army Gals for what it is.

6/10. I really liked the "straightforward" writing, story setting, choices, and some of the h-scenes, but there's a painful amount of bad endings and (more negatively) experimentation to get the very specific combinations of choices that are required to reach the "better" and "good" endings. I used a guide after getting a couple bad endings in a row (and was apparently set towards bad endings from early choices), and it still felt like a chore to reach the better endings, and often only provided a mixed feeling of satisfaction with other negative emotions. Can't recommend this one, but I liked the dev's art style and am looking forward to trying Maid Cafe and their other titles (with less dreary settings) in the near future.
