If this game had a more memorable boss fight system and a better inventory and weapon system, it would definitely be a masterpiece.

Great story and great characters, definitely worth it on sale! The 21 mode is also very fun if you play the DLC.

Re tried a lot of different things over the past 19 years, and must of the main titles and some spin offs are bangers, when this game was announced I was very, very skeptical, since RE6 was a mediocre game for me. The changes didn't click at the time on top of knowing Chris was in the game as a support character under the Umbrella corp was not enough to try the game. Oh boy, at this point you know how wrong I was, this game is awesome, and I cannot stress enough how much I love it. I don0t have a true favourite game, since the franchise changed a lot through the years, and I still love OG RE2 (and now I love the RE2R) as well as RE4, and thanks to THIS game, I was convinced to buy RE8 and RE4R. If you dind't already, play this game, the main campaign is already good enoough, also you unlock a lot of mini games and 2 extra short campaigns.

This was the 180 turnaround that the RE series needed after the miss step that was RE6. Still played the hell out of that one too but it just wasn't what fans of the series wanted or needed. The move into first person was a good thing in my opinion and the RE Engine is kind of GOATed at this point, to the point that the Silent Hill Remake basically copied it (which is a good thing) I would recommend RE7 over Village as your first foray into the newer 1st person perspective iterations, it's scarier, more concise, and overall a better game. Give it a shot!

I just got this game and i absolutely think it's amazing. love the story, the objectives, the puzzles...and it's scary as hell. screamed a few times. scared my kid screaming xD. I don't even really like single player games, but this is a must have. Love the game and the community.

This game was always special for me. tbh this game is my personal fav game because of the horror vibe atmosphere and mystery vibes comparing to other re games. other re games are mostly depends on action more than horror.I remember playing that games demo version back in 2017 now it's a honor for me to finally bought the full game this year. Everything about this game is peak and beatiful. and I love first person view in horror games more so re7 fits me more. Thank For Reading my comment whoever it is.

Not just the best recent RE game, but also up there with the best survival horror games EVER. Ironically, it feels less like an RE game, and more like a Silent Hill game. The opening hours are some of the best I have ever played. Genuinely scary. The third act falls off a little, but the first two more than make up for it. This is legit the scariest game in the last decade, likely even more. Easily the scariest in the RE franchise. A MUST HAVE for horror fans.

It brought the franchise back to its roots but with a different touch. The game balances good content with very few negative points, such as combat limitations and a lack of enemy variety. Other than that, it was excellent. It didn't promise much, but it delivered the best I could have expected, It was a great plot twist, worth my time and money, a rating of 8 out of 10! <3

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is nothing short of a masterpiece in the survival horror genre, a thrilling return to the roots of the series while introducing new innovations that elevate it to new heights. The game brilliantly dials up the tension, immersing you in its world with its first-person perspective, making every creak of floorboards and distant noise an unnerving experience. The eerie and grotesque Baker family, the central antagonists, are both terrifying and deeply fascinating, each encounter leaving you breathless. The game brilliantly combines psychological horror with traditional elements of survival, from managing limited resources to solving mind-bending puzzles. What truly sets RE7 apart, however, is its incredible atmosphere—it's a haunting, relentless tension that lingers with you long after you've put down the controller / Keyboard & mouse. The story, while tied to the Resident Evil lore, also stands on its own with a gripping mystery that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Ethan Winters, our protagonist, is an ordinary man caught in an extraordinary and nightmarish situation, making his journey deeply personal and incredibly engaging. If you’re a fan of survival horror, this is an absolute must-play!

Just completed it on Normal difficulty. Loved it from beginning to end! The atmosphere and the environment is masterfully crafted to give you shivers down the spine for the whole duration of the campaign. Game's supposed to be replayed with varied difficulties and game modes/alternative storylines so i think it's a very nice addition to an already very well made horror. Some things i would have preferred would have been if the puzzles could be a little more difficult/interesting. They are quite easy if not trivial (turn shadow to the correct spot, insert themed key to themed door and so on). Lots of exploration in a somewhat "limited" map made of different floors and secret areas was a very intelligent way of adding depth to the sense of discovery. Not a fan of the "big bosses" at each and every zone but i don't know how would i have handled it better honestly. First person view adds a ton of immersion to these kind of games and i really think i will play the previous RE games with the first person mod also. Super addicting and well made game, it just keeps you playing it until you beat it and reveal the ultimate secret of the plot. i HIGHLY recommend playing it with the HDR active, even if it turns the game much darker, it pumps up the atmosphere and tension SO MUCH.
