low graphics, had issues setting up controls, weird UI, odd force feedback feel, minimal content, and if you're not wanting to download mods for this game i wouldn't say it worth the full 40 bucks

(as someone is races Tillotson Sr gokarts in real life) i came to this game hoping for a realistic karting sim but sadly this game is not it. mostly because of the force feedback. the game gives unmanageable oscillation (death wobble) and doesnt replicate a kart that well. any kart that i tried was not nearly pointy enough to compare to a real kart. there a good amount of slop in the wheel before it starts turning, so much so that by the time you start turning you would be nearly at maximum grip in real life with the same amount of steering input. turning the linearity up does help this but it exaggerates the death wobble especially under braking. the grip also come on in a really weird place in steering angle. for example, the first 15 degrees of rotation in the wheel barely turns the kart at all, then the wheels starts to grip at about 20 or so degrees until maybe 25 or 30, after that if you go any further the kart will swing around very quickly. simply, under steering in this game feels impossible where in real life half the time you're fighting the under steer. the higher powered karts are a lot more oversteery but this game also fails to replicate that at all. the second you start over steering the kart tries to violently swing around where in real life its much easier to stay on the limit of grip in the rear tires. ive tried multiple different settings to try to combat everything but the force feedback itself needs to be fixed big time especially because its the most important aspect of karting. im refunding the game until the force feedback gets an overhaul. basically, if you want to practice for a gokart race or you want to learn how to get good at gokart racing for when you go in person i would not get this game. the feedback of the wheel in real life is EVERYTHING but this game doesn't come close to real life physics. and the rear grip is way to touch and go so it doesn't develop the right driving habits and will lead to slow lap times in real life.

i do karting irl and i just got a injury causing me to take a break but this is a great game to keep me enterained while i wait for my injury to heal

too much grip, on throttle is too stable, setup doesn't translate well to IRL, but still very good with some tuning
