Feesh Reviews
Feesh: An arcade game of microscopic survival, and pesky sharks. The mechanic is simple; eat smaller feesh to get bigger, and avoid being eaten by bigger Feesh. Survive long enough, and you'll evolve! But try not to get naturally selected. A game by Tj H, with music by RDTR Productions

While the idea is functional, the execution leaves more than a bit to be desired, and I'd consider it to be flawed on a fundamental leveldue to the following...
Demerits:
- Narrow FOV, and no danger indicator means something as simple as moving is based on getting lucky, and not running into something that spawned off-screen.
- Nothing is in-place to make sure you can escape any danger: the last life I tried to play saw me losing both lives immediately after one another, due to being boxed in by a larger-than-me Minus Feesh, and a hoard of sharks
- On that topic: sharks spawn way too often, and no limit is seemingly present on how many can be on-map at once. Given they
- The Slippery controls also help nothing, with the entire game feeling like you're on-ice
- Confusing scale means sometimes you'll die to something imperceptably larger, and sometimes, you're the larger feesh.
- All of this means I only got to the 5th evolution once, and that was the round I lost the lives in a row.
- Very annoying having to restart from the beginning on Arcade Mode, as the first evolution is very slow.
Suggested repairs/updates:
- Make the feesh sizes colour-coded, such that you can clearly tell what you can, and cannot eat. An easy way to do this would be tinting everything dangerous red, and everything below you in-size grey. This can also be done with auras, to preserve the original colours.
- Limit shark spawns to no more than 3 at-once...
- ...as well as, or in place of including a danger indicator to show when an off-screen hazard is near.
- Alternatively to the second two: zoom the camera out, so more of the “ocean” is present at once, and the player can feasibly react to dangers.
- Respawn the player in the centre of the screen following a death, such that life-loss parades because they're boxed in cannot occur. If not this, then have a repelling explosion that pushes things away and allows for needle-threading with player escapes.
- Allow one to select a starting evolution, to take away the tedium .slowness of beginning things.
- Remove the sliding on stopping, and/or tighten the turn radius.
- ...or otherwise include the ability to dash on every feesh.

5: Dourly Dismissed, because it's almost unplayable in its current state.
