This DLC cost about 6 of my countries dollars, so that's less than 5 US, I think. For that I only get 2 things to use every play through, a custom Tranq' rifle which is slightly better then the one you can just get given at the start anyway, and a new aug. The aug lets you break down loot into bits you can build things with, trading cash revenue for what is most likely to be biocell construction. Everything else, is one use only. So unless you think one gun and one aug (which you still have to pay praxis to unlock, and has 3 tiers) is worth the price, don't buy this.
In honesty this is kind of a swiv by the dev team, or marketing team (whoever came up with this) and the only way tthey're gonna learn not to do it again is if no-one buys it. Money is all they care about and all they'll listen to. So if you want to see more DLC packs of single use gear, go right ahead.
(addendum: It has been suggested to me that the reason they have done this is to compromise between the expectation of DLC and game balance. I would think though, that if they were worried about game balance, they wouldn't be selling credits and praxis kits through the in game store.)

I see a lot of hate for these DLC weapons but they do have improved stats than normal versions of the weapon not by much but still an improvment.
also they are more compact so they give you more space in your inventory plus they look much cooler.
furthermore they come with an aug upgrade. one dlc comes with an ability to turn old weapons or ammo and other items into crafting parts by dismantling them.
The other dlc includes an aug that slows down the timer of an enemy grenade which is usefull.
Ps: they are still a rip off though, but I don't mind spending money on games I like.

I actually had to by this "pack" to write a review because, though, I got it with the Season Pass it didn't show in my DLC list. You may say that I am an idiot but I just thought like that: a crappy "pack" of items - 5$, kick the sh*t out of Square Enix - invaluable.
So, I just want to ask Squares… Have you f*cking completely lost your remnants of your sh*tty intelligence out there in the management? Selling just a lousy riffle and minor items for 5$, have you completely gone insane in your offices? This is not even a pack, that’s just bullsh*t! You know I thought that selling some start packs with bonuses for 1-2$ in games like Dishonored with equipment is not really a great thing. But this, this is just over the line. Unlike others, this is not a thing for one save file, for one playthrough, this is once and for all. Yes, this is not a start pack, this is a f*cking microtransaction in a f*cking single player game! You can get these items only once and then you have to pay another 5$ to get them for the new walkthrough. But you know what’s the icing on the cake? I initially though that it was not saving or accident deleting of a save game, but, man, the things turned out to be more f*cking crazy. When you redeem this piece of crappy sh*t, the save file becomes locked to the directory, so if you change your PC components, OS or simply reinstall the game, your save won’t work. The game doesn’t just delete the items, the whole save file stops working. Got technical problems during walkthrough and had to reinstall the game – great, your save file is f*cked up, start over!
And the funniest thing is that all these items can be gotten via console. Plus, they are mostly useless if you explore levels, cause then you will have enough credits and ammo. So, you just nearly flush 5$ into the toilet. Man, in such situations I feel pity for small indie developers who try to sell a whole game for 3-5$ when at the same time Square f*cking Enix sells air for such money.
DO NOT BUY THIS THING IN ANY CASE. IF YOU ARE SO F*CKING IN NEED OF THIS SH*TTY CRAP JUST INSTALL CONSOLE MOD AND USE IT TO GET THEM! BECAUSE IF YOU BUY THIS CRAP THESE JERKS WILL GET THAT WE ARE CONSUMING EVERY PIECE OF SH*T THEY POOP INTO STORES AND IN THE NEAR FUTURE WE ARE GOING TO PAY 120$ FOR A NEW GAME AND THEN ADDITIONAL 5$ TO ACCESS EACH MISSION.

Everything bought is a consumable and can only be used once. Don't try starting a new game. Keep your very first save. Only good if you want to dismantle every gun you pick up for parts instead of ammo. Does not work if you try to buy more than once.

Horrible. As if this DLC wasn't already useless enough, for me it's been rendered even more obsolete with the use of CE. The only perk of it is the Micro-Assembler aug. Don't buy it.

Non-essential weapon/augment DLC. Unlike the Assault Pack the Tactical Pack's offers something reasonably worthwhile, at least for non-lethal stealth players. Similarly to the assault pack's battle rifle, the tranquilizer rifle in this pack is marginally better than the stock model and more importantly saves 4 entire inventory spaces which can let you hold off on increasing inventory space with augments. Additionally the pack gives access to the micro-assembler line of augments which can also be incredibly useful for inventory management for those who are more prone to hoarding items like myself.
The single-use items are so irrelevent to actually playing the game, they are not considered for the purposes of this review.

I hate the one-time Praxis and credits, etc. But the Micro-Assembler Augment is actually really good. It's by no means necessary to play the game with, but being able to turn spare weapons you're never going to use into crafting parts for bio-cells, multi-tools, and other stuff can really help out if you're just trying to have fun. It makes finding a cache of lethal weapons on a non-lethal playthrough not feel like a waste, and makes you feel like you can spread upgrades around because you end up getting more crafting parts.
Essentially, you spend $5 (or less, I got it for almost nothing) to get an Aug that changes a fairly large part of the game if you use it right, plus the aforementioned shitty consumables, and a reskin. I want to be clear, I DO *NOT* think this is good DLC. I think it could have been a part of the base game very easily.
But I would still recommend it because of how the Micro-Assmbler Augment changes the way you can play.
The Assault Pack, though, is garbage. The aug literally just doubles grenade timers and the consumables are shitty. I recommend trying this out if you can get it cheap or free.

You can only use it one time in a single playthrough. If you decide to load a saved game, the items will disappear. Absolutely worthless and a complete ripoff. They don't even tell you that before you purchase it. No wonder AAA gaming is dying.

Don't buy this or the other DLC.
There is some weird bug in the code, your PRAXIS points are unuseable in game and disappears after a saved game reload, since it cannot be spent.
The Credits will also disappear, if you saved obe game. You get only one. If you delete the saved game, they are gone/ POOF, never to e returned.
Nasty game DLC, when they don't work at all.
Getting a refund.
