Fun and love the DLC/Expension pack. but its a little expensive side. 15 euro will do.

Why did they get rid of the GOAT, Cabot Finch? He was my childhood hero, and then they just throw him away for someone like Dale. I honestly don't understand why a character as great as Cabot had to be replaced. If Dale becomes a main character and completely takes Cabot's place in a future DLC or game, I won't be buying it. In fact, if Cabot isn't in another DLC or game at all, I probably won't buy that either. Cabot was one of the best parts of the Jurassic World Evolution series. He was a role model to me and someone who could make me laugh even during the most serious moments. Now it feels like he's just being cast aside and forgotten. I know Rebirth is supposed to take place on a secret island that only a select few people know about, but Cabot was the main Crisis Manager at Jurassic World. It would make perfect sense for him to have some kind of role there. Instead, we're left with characters I find far less interesting. The gameplay hasn't helped my opinion either. Some of the new missions feel frustrating. If you're told to research something, you can't simply click on it and be taken directly to the research screen. You have to navigate there yourself every time. On top of that, one of the objectives completely confused me. It told me to have five level 1s and five level 5 dinosaurs, but it didn't make it clear what that actually meant. Maybe there's an explanation, but at the time it just felt confusing and poorly explained. I'm not even finished with the DLC yet, but based on what I've played so far, it doesn't feel like it lives up to the standard set by the previous Jurassic World Evolution games and their DLCs. My biggest issue, though, is still the absence of Cabot Finch. He brought personality, humor, and charm to the series, and it just doesn't feel the same without him. Frontier, if you're listening, bring back Cabot Finch. He deserved better. Also kill everyone on that island esspisly Dale he desvers to rot in hell.

I really want to recommend this but I have some issues that need to be fixed first. I play the normal campaign and I assumed this would add the new locations to that campaign, it doesn't, it adds and entirely new campaign. That in itself isn't that bad, but all I can use from this pack in my campaign is the Titanosaur and Aquilops. The new traits, hybrids, aviaries, and geothermal power do not work in the old campaign (You can't even research them) The store page should really state that these are all locked to the new campaign. The Mutadon and Distortus Rex also only have their movie skin and no extra skins and for the price I expected more and the ability to use at least the hybrids and aviaries in the rest of the game

Price is a little steep for what you get as I don't think $25 for 4 dinosaurs is a great price point especially when people already thought the D-Rex was going to be base game considering how close the base game launched to Rebirth. There are a lot of nice decretive pieces especially if you are going for a run-down/abandoned park aesthetic
honest verdict is while it is nice to have new toys to toss into your park wait for a heavily discounted sale/dlc bundle

I like this DLC but i CANNOT recommend it, until they finish that stupid "infinite rainstorm" bug,
I actually cannot complete the DLC campaign until its fixed, The Dilophosaurs are permanently stuck at 80% comfort and i need 100%, such a silly reason.
Its across all sites too. relaunching the game fixes nothing. and my save is actually doomed because i saved during the storm not realising that it would never end. do NOT buy this until this bug is fixed. Its a hardlock bug that does not go away from your save.
Otherwise, i like the new stuff alot, although i wish the amicable trait stopped carnivores from hunting Ornithomimids. it stops them from hunting dinosaurs that they need too fight. but not ones they kill instantly, so you cant have hadrosaurs in large carnivore enclosures. Rip too my campaign save until this storm bug is fixed. im not restarting.
Update: I tried braving through it, after 4 hours the Rainstorm stopped. i feel like its not supposed too last that long. But you can infact power through it. Still 50/50 on the DLC until thats fixed though. Because if it the storm starts again in 30 minutes im doomed. otherwise consider this a positive review.

Pros :
- Models accurate to the films
- Good campaign
- 3 maps
- Buildings sets
- new aviary
disadvantages :
- all "Variants" skins have lazy patterns and colors with a "plastic" texture ? They look like toys compared to other creatures in the game
- 2 out of the 4 new creatures (the mutants) don't even have a skin system
-"Variants" have no babies and are laking some animations (especially the spinosaurus who became a medium carnivore for no reason)
-Skins are gender and variant locked exept raptors
-Raptors and the Dilo could of been new variants (they have new models so why not make them variants)
- no Ile St Hubert sandbox square map option
- Still a lot of bugs with some animations (my D-rex use telekinesis to kill, and my flyers keep getting stuck even tho the free update was supposed to fix that)
Conclution :
A lazy DLC that does the bare minimum in terms of quality, really disappointed to see such a good promise, accurate models, good texture for the films skins.... only to come out half baked. The DLC whould of been "Okay" for me but for that price it is a disappointment.

The store page did not state that you can't use most of the new content in the old main campaign, which is very disappointing and an unpleasant surprise when you enter the game.
Requested the refund, if it is made that all the content can be used anywhere I will consider buying the dlc again.

Big JWE fan here. But 25$ for this is insane. The campaign is bad. The new dinos have no skins. There's only like a handful of new species. Love a lot of the new improvements but overall I think this is a wait for sale. Or buy from green man gaming like I did for a discount

I'm sorry, but where it stands right now, I can't say much good about this DLC.
As much as I love the new species, especially the Distortus rex with its more humanizing elements, the price does not feel worth it. Not only is there zero unique skins for the mutant animals, but the new variants have half-baked patterns, with some variants just being skins and not variants at all. Even with that, all of the new variants don't even have juvenile models, which is very annoying considering how vastly different they are to their original counterparts. The Open Air Aviary has annoying sound effects and has zero customizability. The campaign is very tedious, with it just being a loop of "complete assignments" and doesn't drive you in as much as the original campaign.
I think some changes definitely need to be made in order to make this expansion feel genuinely worth it.
