Easily the weakest in the trilogy, but I went with a recommend in the end but only if you like the first 2 games and can get it on a good sale. [olist] [*]The Good [olist] [*]The platforming is the same as the other games, which is fun. [*]It was mostly fun - I had a good time [/olist] [*]The Neutral [olist] [*]Boomerangs: while the new system with stones is interesting, it needs improvements; it does not feel rewarding to get stones as it did to get completely new boomerangs like in the first game - I did not personally like the melee since it did not involve the boomerangs at all (throwing wise or the stones) so it took away that core part of the game. [*]Graphics/Animations - same old, same old [*]Voice Acting [/olist] [*]The Bad [olist] [*]Bugs: 1 time the game froze for no reason; some of the maps you buy to find items do not work properly (you have to get close to the item or it will not show on the minimap) [*]Story: it does not make sense and goes back and forth between points very fast - might be what they were doing for but it did not feel right - characters are under utilized [*]Camera is bad [*]Too much padding and the world is boring - all the areas feel the same - too much focus on the mechs [*]The final boss sucks hard - it is the most boring boss fight I have played for awhile - in hardcore mode, you have to use the invincible rang or it is impossible since the melee sucks. I have played about 40 goofy minutes of this mid game. The story is nonsensical and they seem to have taken notes from Jak 2. That is not a good thing. You can now do a generic 3 hit combo with the rangs. Unfortunately most of the enemies require melee to be defeated. Please don't buy this game. Stick to the second game. Only thing I'M going to give credit for is the music. This soundtrack bops pretty hard.
