I applaud the reissue of old games by Retroism and Nightdive Studios, I will probably continue to buy them (but probably only on sale) because when the games originally came out I couldn't afford the $40 to $60 price tag back in 1993 and I would like a shot now at them. There were a lot of good games that came out around 1993:
Alien Vs. Predator
Duke Nukem II
Dune
Dune II: The Building of a Dynasty
Elite Plus
Hard Nova
Laser Squad
Metal & Lace: The Battle of the Robo Babes (boing)
Nova
Protostar: War on the Frontier
Rex Nebular and the Cosmic Gender Bender
Ringworld: Revenge of the Patriarch
Space Ace
The Space Quest Saga: Roger Wilco
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Star Wars
Star Wars: X-Wing - B-Wing
Star Wars: X-Wing - Imperial Pursuit
Starflight: A Cosmic Adventure
Stellar 7
Ultima: Worlds of Adventure 2 - Martian Dreams
Ultrabots
Wing Commander: Deluxe Edition
Wing Commander: Privateer - Speech Pack
Wing Commander: The Secret Missions
This was not one of them. You wonder how someone could approve this back then. Will keep slogging to see if possible to play.

This is a classic game kinda like Reunion and Alien Legacy I want to say. Its also got fighter flight sim stuff like Wing Commander and its also a space version of Medieval Lords and Feudalism. Its kinda like Game of Thrones in space. But you should get it on sale. Its lacking in some areas

I'm sorry but no. This game is right up my alley for style and I'd love to see a remake, but as it is it's old in all the wrong ways. It's got a terribly clunky UI, the pacing is all over the place and at its heart it's basically a badly-obsolete old-school flight sim that takes for...ev...er to get anything done in. (The tutorial mission involves doing two points of damage per laser shot against a capital ship with ~1200 or so shields; given that even skilled runs can take a full minute to pull off and you'll only get 5-10 shots per run, well, you do the math.)
