Seriously SO Happy I found StoryFlow Editor! (TLDR: I highly recommend this for creators who want to own their software and work in a clean, intuitive productive space. It allows for ultimate creativity because it is set up to just work and get out of the way so you can create.) I came from articy with a large project I needed to make dialogue and more for and was NOT going to be able to stay within their free tier and they were super pricey to subscribe to and refused any perpetual license. I know I am not alone as a Solo Indie Dev and human honestly, to be tired of pricey subscriptions you keep forever with use and yet own nothing. I found StoryFlow EXACTLY when I needed it. The price is amazing and NO subscription and the software is absolutely a pleasure to use. The "Flow" in it's name is TRUE. The interface is clean and minimal, but not to the point that it becomes a where's waldo for functionality. Everything feels like it is where it needs to be and it truly flows especially when you are doing what you actually came for-WRITING. StoryFlow Editor is set up in such a way(including multiple ways to easily connect to external projects) that you can easily create without feeling like you're fighting against software that is supposed to help you. The lovely little touch that allows you to set a Project photo, so when you open up the app you can see your personal project art along with its name is really a small motivating confirmation(You can also choose to open right into the project and bypass the project screen btw). Working with the node is fast, easy and REALLY intuitive, so like I said, you can easily slide right into the Flow of your dialogue/project. The best part about this software among it's many positives is that the developer is still updating it and making it even better! It's modern and crafted wonderfully. I've made sooooo much progress I thought would take ages in just the ~7hrs I've used it so far. And every moment was a moment forward in development rather than fussing with the software itself. I'm excited to continue using it and excited for what else the Dev decides to update or even other projects they develop because they seem to "just get it".

I bought StoryFlow shortly after it launched because I was looking for a better way to organize and write my stories. The visual approach immediately caught my attention, and it has been a pleasure to use ever since. The editor makes it easy to structure scenes, manage branching dialogue, keep track of narrative flow, and stay organized without relying on endless documents or notes. Everything feels much more intuitive when you can actually see how your story is connected. Another thing worth mentioning is the developer. Support has been excellent whenever I've needed help, and it's clear the software is actively maintained and continuously improving. StoryFlow has become one of my favorite tools for writing and organizing stories, and I can genuinely recommend it to anyone looking for a visual narrative editor.
