Bravo on the Yuri option! Wasn't sure what to expect. I was plesantly surprised about the story content. Something a bit more real to life.

What can I even say? The summary already tells you the entire story. Really. I don't know if someone wished to relive their last school days and seal those memories away in this "novel" or... They just wanted to make it better... But... There is nothing that comes with reading this. I don't care about there being just one sprite per character (minus the MC). I also actually found it fun to look at real life backgrounds as well. But the story............ You only get a few days to learn about other characters ("routes" whose you pick at the end) and even then... THE NOVEL IS KINETIC! So at most you spend... Barely any lines with them. That's an equivalent of you coming into a store, where a major party took place and everyone turns to look at you and someone asks you "well, what do you think?" How the hell should you know?! YOU WEREN'T EVEN THERE! That's how you feel... And the worst part? They could've easily fixed it. How? Do flashbacks. Yes. If you don't want flashbacks, do "oh I knew this guy since blah blah, he gave me a tuna as a present for my birthday". You can already tell more from that than reading this book. "Book". But what of these "routes" you spoke of in the end? Yeah okay. It's just few lines of you choosing this person or to go get coffee. At this point blowing everyone off and going to get coffee would make more sense as they are all 100% strangers to the reader. So why would you read this? How the hell should I know?! There are no feelings... No emotions... No anything that would help me answer you. As a person's memory and reliving or editing it... WORKS FINE! But as a Visual Novel? Ya gotta put in more effort. Way more effort. Okay, a hella lot more effort.

This Visual Novel is a very short glimpse of what happens in the lives of teenagers on the verge of becoming members of society, and it turns out it's pretty heartwarming. Wether it's the writing or the characters, I fancied that game, especially the character art and for its price, it's a really good visual novel especially for newcomers. I have to admit I didn't like the backgrounds, they didn't go well with the characters design and the UI is non existant. Recommended if you want to chill out for an hour (or two) and enjoy a nice story.

Knowing that this was a short game, I bought it for the heck of it to try it out. It was alright, but not great. The stock images didn't bother me too much, but a lot of the phrasing was awkward and clunky. My biggest concern is the endings. No matter what choice you make, it only takes about a minute or less to wrap up each route and the romances felt fake and exaggerated. I also really wish more time had been spent on Michiko or Yuri who I felt were the most interesting characters in the bunch.

It's a nice short story about coming of age, life choices, friendship and first love. It's also a very "normal" story, no big plot twists or surprises, verly little drama and it feels very 'real' and relatable because of this. It touches on the pressures of life as a young adult in modern Japan, and I was surprised to learn that it was not made by a Japanese studio. I missed the autoscroll function though...Worth a read if you like virtual novels about young love and Japanese culture. 7/10

This is a good game.... if you get it on a sale. I wasn't expecting much from this game- I knew it would be a short and simple visual novel with a handful of relationship options- but I found myself truly disappointed in it despite my low expections. The story didn't hold enough interest for me, personally. But I also found myself sorely disappointed in the ending- because it tells you to save at one point before you make your final choice, and then you can just reload, and reload, and reload- and get all the endings and almost all the achievements in that one spot. The last five minutes of the game are literally all that matters, and your choices certainly don't change anything. The only other achievement is one other choice where you choose whether to walk to school or whether to get a ride with your family- and again, it really doesn't matter. The entire game felt stale to me. Not bad to play if you want easy achievements or a short story, but overall not that great. I have yet to play the Last Days of Spring 2, but I do own it, and I really hope it's better than this first one. I have played this entire game and gotten all the achievements in like... an hour and ten minutes. I just feel like it could have been a more interesting game.

I bought this game for iPad a couple of months ago and was pleasantly surprised to find it in the "Shopaholic Bundle 3" and am super glad to have it on both devices. When I bought this game I was expecting your typical anime high school plot but boy was I surprised! This turned out to be an incredibly well thought-out and rather beautiful work of art. With a beautiful storyline, enchanting music and unique art style I was swept away into this world and really could see myself in the shoes of each character. More of a kinetic novel than a visual novel as there are only a few choices sprinkled around but definitely insanely good vale for it's price! Loved the story so much, I decided to read it again as it had so many inspiring and heartwarming moments. 10/10

It’s honestly so bad that I curse the day I bought this VN. I’ve played some bad VNs before, but wow… Last Days of Spring has some serious issues, the story and characters being the main one; the story was dull, characters were badly developed and forgettable, and your choices through the story barely matter at all. I liked the BGs (the only good thing on this mess) and that’s it. The art style was decent sometimes, but most sprites were bad (characters were ugly and expressionless, just like empty vessels). BGM was horrible, I had to turn off the computer’s audio (since you can’t do that on the own game). 1/10, not worth even for free.
