As an avid visual novel fan, I was excited to dive into this game. The food illustrations are absolutely stunning, and the achievements are adorable. The concept itself is quite interesting, and reading about the game's premise, characters, and names, as well as seeing the sketches, was genuinely engaging. But...
It doesn’t feel fully developed. The writing comes across as amateurish, and the UI is frustrating to navigate. While the text is technically readable, the font and text box design make it exhausting to look at for long periods.
Unfortunately, the writing reminded me of a Wattpad fanfic, which made it hard to stay engaged. I barely made it to the first branching choice before wanting to skip everything. A little more polish could make this game shine!
