Dub Dash was meant to be the next evolution in rhythm/dash games with the flexibility a 3D environment gives. I enjoy it for all the mechanics and tricks it has which are varied and keep it fresh. I would've liked to see a couple more levels if not a world editor, because some mechanics get underused (and one was only in the prototype to start with). Still, if you're good at these genres you will get a kick out of it, and the challenge modes are randomized with a bigger focus on one underused mechanic (double big jumps) so they can be fun. You can sometimes go out of sync with the game by doing extra jumps or cheesing certain 'traps' in the main wheel-forward mode as well. Side note: this game doesn't seem to be available anymore on the android store. Although it is still available through steam and the free version is backed up on 2nd-hand stores, the paid mobile version is gone. This is a bit sad, as it indicates we probably will see it become abandonware/unsold altogether someday. I first heard of Dub Dash in 2016 but hadn't played it on Steam until this year.

very, very, very bad. dont waste your money on this, trust me. the physics and controls are horrible, levels are insanely repetitive, unbalanced, and boring to replay. the "challenge" nonsense is just randomly generated levels, sometimes with mechanics that you havent even learned yet. and if that wasnt enough, you cant even choose the levels you want to play--you have to play them in all in order which is incredibly juvenile and silly. there are countless other rhythm games better than this one; JSAB, ADOFAI, GD, Rhythm Doctor, Project Arrhythmia, etc. just dont buy this garbage. please.

yeah i know this game takes much inspiration from geometry dash but i wouldn't call it a full on clone. it's pretty good and i like the concept of the beats and everything. ball
