Spacer works so good for tagging files, I used the demo primarily as my little tool to keep track of what tasks were necessary on large groups of work I was doing, but also labelling different aspects of them, their abilities, etc. You can just tag things that need to be tagged.
I know other tag-based file explorers exist, but they seem to try and re-create their version of a UI in such an abstract way that it is not immediately easy to use. Spacer is like your familiar boostrap-style web interface but without it actually being a website, it just has that perfect interface like it's already a default part of your operating system.
New major system overhaul update today introduced sub-folders and way more features for managing your files. It actually makes the demo even more powerful than it ever was, but I figured I might as well buy it full now that it's freshly enhanced. Your tags are still there if you upgrade to the full version!
It's definitely a solid app to try out, if you are a content creator or just want to organize your files better. The demo is something you could probably even live with, you get 1 Space and 20 tags for free to use.
