The Walking Zekes
World War Z x The Walking Dead adds the episode The Walking Dead in World War Z exploring the American City of Atlanta and other rural areas based on locations from the show. As the title suggests the three levels are based on AMC's The Walking Dead featuring two iconic locations and one expanded location. This adds fully voiced characters from the show along with the unique mechanic of having the zombies being slow and shambling much like walkers, offering a creepier experience.
Pros
- Explore Iconic locations from The Walking Dead such as The Prison from Seasons 3 and 4, Grady Memorial Hospital featured in Season 5, and the Alexandria Safe Zone featured from Season 6 onwards. - Playable Characters of Rick Grimes, Michonne, Daryl, and Negan with voice acting from Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus, - New Unique Zombie: Spiked Walker - 2 New Weapon skins for the Revolver and Crossbow - 2 New Melee Weapons with Michonne's katana and Negan's Lucille barbed wire bat - Walking zombies instead of the usual running zombies providing a whole different experience - Unique soundtrack across the maps mixing World War Z's soundtrack with the soundtrack from the show
Cons
- The ONLY con i have for this DLC and i know why it is: we don't have Danai Gurira and Jeffrey Dean Morgan reprising their roles in the voice acting. The voice actors they have for Michonne and Negan do very well and emulate their voices the best they can, but as Michonne is one of my favourite characters, it was sad to not hear Danai when they had the amazing effort of getting Andrew and Norman for their voices. It's completely ruined for me. It's like there is no connection to the enemies anymore. I've played for over 1500 hours or so, I guess this is the end. I hope I can refund Walking Dead.

💸 Real content is always preferable to lame skins, but again, only 3 chapters, not 4? Playable Negan - yes, please, but does it really feel like an episode of TWD? Well, no, especially in terms of the locations atmosphere. It's still the same WWZ, just with a different z's name, and the story is more pointless than the existence of zombies throughout the entire show (not even a fan of it, it's just a dumb fest), but for a collab, this is a rather bland and dull implementation. It was interesting to see slower, more durable, and dangerous z's, so there's no complaint about the pacing here. Playing these chapters alone is definitely more boring than with someone. Overall rating: meh. The price is definitely too high, and it can't be justified by the license, since it's almost the standard price for all episodes (same old greedy Saber).
