Pony Island Reviews

Pony Island is a suspense puzzle game in disguise. You are in limbo, trapped in a malevolent and malfunctioning arcade machine devised by the devil himself. It is not a game about ponies.

Fun and creative game. The overall gameplay was very simple and enjoyable and the story is interesting too. Although I did have to research to get the full context and background of the full story but still cool. Getting all the tickets was definetly worth it and the little easter eggs are fun. Especially after my first playthrough. Overall a good game
and I want to apologise to the hopeless soul, who was trapped and suffered on my computer. The end boss thing when collecting all the tickets caught me really of guard.
I got stuck at some points in the game, but that's my fault. The game is very intuitive and genius, interacting with the player at times. I think that the only way to make this game better would be to make it interact with one's actual PC, just like some other games on this platform. Otherwise, it's really good, and I do recommend it.

Buen juego, divertido y corto. Si vas a sacar el secreto de todas las respuestas necesitas buen rng lo cual es un poco molesto pero meh tampoco tardás demasiado.

Daniel Mullins never disappoints! This was the second game from him I've played, the first one being Inscryption last year and I see the style in his games are very consistent. I love how we're being taken on a ride with this game, you never know what to expect in this charming game. Being a self aware game full of twists, packaged neatly into a 3-5 hour experience which was just delightful. The puzzles were nice, the gameplay was interesting and don't get me started on the music! This is the first game I've ever played in which I vibed with the music so much, I actually considered buying the soundtrack. Do yourself a huge favor and get this game, please!

I'm really loving these short games as a break from my endless backlog. I've always wanted to try this one since it's the first game by the Inscryption dev (huge fan here, btw). With a sequel announced, I thought why not give it a shot? The gameplay is simple, but they always think outside the box with the story. Can't wait to dive into The Hex and hopefully Pony Island 2 soon!

Awesome game with basic but funny and concise writing! Reminds me a lot of Portal with how you're breaking a system designed to imprison you by cheating against a cheater lol SHODAN vibes too from System Shock

Daniel Mullins understands game design, subverting expectations and creating interesting and thought-provoking works of art. A developer that I will never hesitate to pre-order from with no worries that his game will not amaze me in some way. Check out The Hex and Inscryption as well. Just do it and thank me later.
