All 3 new vehicles are very well executed and are a useful complement to my existing roster.
Liebherr A 918 : sadly no road work contracts are possible in CS2015, but this excavator is useful for small sites. Its 1 cubic meter bucket lets you excavate quickly, but you only need a fraction of the working area compared to the default large excavator (now renamed Liebherr R 936 excavator). It has a variable angle boom, which is great in tight confines but takes a while to get used to. I found that this function is mapped to pedal controls in the real world, so I changed my key assignments to W and S, which allows me to use my driving pedals, keeping both hands on joysticks. It's a kludge but it works. It digs well, quite similarly to the R936. It also drives well, but can tip over if you're not careful. The dozer blade is just for appearances, of course. So are the outriggers, which is a tad disappointing.
Liebherr R 956 : this is what I really wanted from this DLC. Big bucket! This huge excavator is great for big jobs. It digs well, but differently from the R936, as it seemed to me to require more bucket curl. This makes digging more realistic, as you can get stuck but wiggle the bucket to cut through dirt like you would do in real life. Lifting the boom is ponderous, you can feel the weight, just as with big excavators in real life. The sound set is exactly the same as the R936, a tad disappointing as the 956's engine is much bigger.
Liebherr L1-24 fast-erecting crane
I wasn't expecting much with this tower crane, after all we already have two other models, but it turns out to be much smaller than the default one, and thus perfect for smaller sites such as in the residential district, where the bigger cranes look out of place. I always use tower cranes on construction sites, mobile cranes are strictly verboten. This one is also interesting because it has no cab, it is operated from the ground.

I bought this basically for the excavators, don't really care about the crane. I tested it only few hours, the models are nice, i didn't notice any missing texture or issue on them, the 956 is great and work great! Problems comes with the little 918: the boom is absolutly terrible to use due to the lack of articulation. Basically the radius of all single boom pieces are too restricted, and this makes digging a lot harder than normal! And unrealistc. About handling and driving i think we can say it's "ok", what it is not is the sound of the engine...put the vanilla truck engine sound it's been a mistake. Anyway, the price is good, your choice now.

Not bad at all! I haven't gotten a chance to run the 956 yet, but the 918 is really nice. It's cool to be able to drive it to the job site with it's 42 KPH top speed. It's able to lift the debis container, so you can just load it onto the flatbed instead of using the tipper to transport it to the site. The inputs are pretty damn smooth. The only con is the boom doesn't go down as far as it should, and requires you to drop the 2nd piece of the boom down. It has a very limited digging depth.
All in all, I'm glad they are developing more DLC for this sim, it's a lot of fun, and it's just getting better.

The small tower crane (which actually is a remote-controlled crane and not a real tower crane) is in theory a great investment early on because it's relatively cheap, BUT it's only useful on the smallest lots and most of those don't have a spot for a tower crane, so it's a bit of a meh purchase. You'll still get much more use out of the 81K.
The wheeled excavator is a great replacement for the mini-excavator, with the added benefit of not needing a trailer to move it. It also lets you break into the "tier 2" excavation jobs, though you need to make heavy use of the flex boom to dig deep enough to make any kind of progress. Wheeled excavators aren't really designed for this kind of work - they're meant for doing small digging jobs, mainly trenches and ditches, and quickly moving from site to site - but it's the only use for it in the game. Like the crane, I feel it's mainly of interest early in the game, as doing any of the excavation tasks really needs the bigger diggers.
The big 956 digger has twice the bucket capacity of the "old" 936, but, and it's a big BUT, you NEED the trailer from drilling rig DLC to transport it. It's too big for the lowboy trailer and even if you manage to get it up the ramps, it'll sit too high to make it under the streetlights.
After the update and this DLC I do have issues with the game stuttering wildly when turning the excavators in cab view (only way to dig), but it doesn't affect performance, though these two diggers get more stuck in the ground than the old 936 ever did. Might just be a bug or the game having issues with the latest nVidia drivers.
