One of the best up and coming cultivation games! Love the various different playstyles represented by the different schools. Also happy that achievements are not linked to realm, meaning I don't have to sit around at a really low realm forever in worry that I will miss one. Looking forward to the rest of the realms and seeing where this game goes!

Have been looking for a cultivation-themed game that's pretty heavy on the cultivation techniques, and really enjoying this.

This game and Sifu are a proof that games from western devs based in Chinese mythology can be really good, even better than many from Chinese studios.

Honestly, I don't have the energy to treat gaming like a second full-time job anymore. If you're just looking for a super satisfying, chill loop where you can watch your character get insanely strong without the brutal headache, Ascend From Nine Mountains is a total win. Reasons why I like this game and keep coming back to it after new updates: Phenomenal Build Crafting: The skill system is incredibly deep and flexible. Theory-crafting your build is half the fun, and discovering how different skills (and items hehe) synergize to break the game in the best way possible feels genuinely rewarding. Engaging Item Crafting: Crafting isn't just a passive menu simulator here. As you ascend to higher realms, the game steadily introduces new tools and unique challenges. It keeps the crafting loop feeling fresh and evolving rather than stagnant. Tolerable Grind: Let’s face it, progression-themed games live or die by the grind. The loop here is smooth and accessible, but it never loses that satisfying, dopamine-hitting sense of accomplishment when you finally hit your goals. If you want a great mix of crafting, building, and ascending without the stressful stress, this is an easy thumbs up.

8 / 10 Have Vietnamese, just enough to understand and font is mess up, but it's there. Fun game to play, not too much thing like other games that make you confused and dont know what to do. I play straight 11 hours in my weekend to get to the 4th breakthrough. But I would recommend to wait if you dont familiar with this kind of game, or Vietnamese like me, because currently it lack of the wiki, or the database to know where and how you can achieve stuffs

The best Cultivation themed game I have played. The level of attention to detail and responsiveness by the dev is incredible, both in terms of responding to bugs and taking on new suggested content. The game also receives chunky patches every week or two that adds new content. Even now in EA a single playthrough has more content than most other games at full release. We are talking dozens of quests, loads of NPCs, areas to explore, unique items to find and upgrade. Hundreds of techniques to learn and use, crafting could be an entirely separate game with how much complexity it provides. If any of that sounds appealing then you should grab the game, I guarantee you will get your moneys worth.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this is a fairly expansive game in terms of its mechanics and complexity. There aren't that many xianxia cultivation games that try to encompass a full cultivation progression system. Though, at its core it is an auto-battler that's more about building a killing machine so you can focus on resource acquisition to further your progression. My one pain point for this game is the AI art and music, if the dev's patreon income and the money from game sales is any indication of them having the funds to at least commission or hire an artist - then I hope they do so by the time it leaves early access.
