The game is cool, I like the graphics and the cool artwork, the game does have some bugs and movements issues but itโ€™s early so it makes sense. The game is cool but if you play it too much then it just gets boring. 75%

Lots of fun! I played solo and enjoyed swinging around with my tongue in the mini dungeons, trying to figure out how to solve them. Some are quite difficult but I also felt really rewarded when I got larger items back to the boat by myself. Excited to see where the devs take the game next!

fun lil game! a good take on the friendslop genre, i REALLY like the focus on platforming and puzzles more than dealing with monsters/enemies like most friendslop retrieval games. the game has a good aesthetic, the soundtrack is great and the game is very colorful and nice looking. the game has good movement and physics, simple mechanics that challenge you at the same time. because of these things it feels quite polished for a brand new game. it's quite fun and i had a good time playing. now some gripes about the game in its current state: - i'd REALLY like to see run saves be added, as it was annoying if we had to re-make the lobby, we'd lose all our progress. - lobby codes didn't seem to work for us as well. and there is no crossplay at the moment. - there are NO options for rebinding. i would really like to see that be added. - the option for proximity voice doesn't seem to work/make any difference, compared to the normal global voice. - unfortunately i dealt with a lot of lag playing with other people that made it practically unplayable at times, especially in full 8 player games. teleporting/not being able to pick up items, insanely long load times, sometimes not being able to hear people for half of the run. i have a good pc that is above the game recommendation and great internet, so i'm hoping this is something that will be fixed soon! i hope for the best with this game! it has a lot of potential.

I'm leaving a very hesitant thumbs up on this review for now. There's lots of potential here -- it's a cute game and fun to play, but it also needs a lot of polishing because of issues that should normally only be present in an early access game. The visuals and graphics are super cute! But the physics and controls feel very floaty and inconsistent when it comes to moving around, pulling on objects/surfaces with the frog tongues, and barfing up the food into the boat bowl without accidentally making the items tumble over the edge of the boat and into the water -- all of these things are way harder than they should be, and this makes for a frustrating, finicky game feel. I also think that it would be helpful if all players in the lobby were required to lick the frog operating the boat in order to finish each level. I accidentally licked him and almost left my friend behind in the water at the end of the level.

after a day of playing this game i can say without a doubt this game is great, but it could be a little better for single player. if you have a group of friends that can play, get this if you don't have friends to play with get this the discord sever is full of people that can play with you.

This game is great! It's got platforming challenges, puzzles, and the size changes really shake up the gameplay! It's also got some interesting tech as well with the tongue grapple. All in all this is a blast to play with friends!

I thought there would be more to the mechanics regarding tongue movement. It feels somewhat limited and I was hoping that they would improve this from the playtest. It genuinely felt like most things were impossible alone. I think the game needs a few more movement features and things you can do more independently and then i could highly reccomend it. I've been really excited for this game and counted down the minutes for its release, so this isn't me just hating. -- they added tounge reeling since then.. im gonna try it out again

How does this game only have a 72% rating?! One of the best friend slop games me and my friends have played in a while. Mechanics are a little jank but just don't take it too seriously and have fun. Mostly just requires some getting used to. Looks like all these negative reviews are people trying to play friend slop solo for some reason or really bad at platformers. Don't listen to them. If you like goofy ass friend slop/ platformers & have friends you'll love this.

If it were advertised/tagged as early access I would have my review be positive but with a few gripes, HOWEVER. I feel obligated to let you know this is NOT a finished product and needs a lot of work. Especially if you are coming from a complete experience like R.E.P.O 1. NO tutorial besides a few signs that show the 3 basic inputs. 2. NO saves, you start from scratch every time. 3. NO public lobbies, if you don't have anyone on your friends list with this game you're going solo. 4. NOT solo friendly and there are mechanics, puzzles and items that require another person to get value from or even use. (The Grenade) 5. No way to change key binds or controls in the settings. 6. Unintuitive Inventory system (whose UI is bugged at the time of writing this.) Once you take out an item, you can't put it back in your inventory, that includes in the lobby/shop area. Your first moment of excitedly wanting to try out an item you bought will be met with the realization you wasted it and it's gone. There is no tutorial and the game does not let you know this. 7. Movement is WAY too floaty and 50% of your time moving is spent moving in 1 direction, the other 50% correcting the sliding from you or other objects. It's like an slippery Ice segment in a snow level but permanent. 8. Inconsistent drag physics; What you are dragging with your tongue is either ZOOMING or you get yanked to a dead stop by that object. This is ESPECIALLY bad when dragging items up an incline. 9. No Input Buffer for Tongue when you let go to grab another object mid-air, if you're too quick the game doesn't buffer the input and you just fall to your death. Feels really bad. I Thought I was going crazy with how the movement/physics felt till I watched the developer stream. You can see them struggle with many of the things I listed above lol. THAT BEING SAID. I will NOT be refunding. I'm sticking around to see this thing improve and get polished, when that day comes I will 100% be gifting it to all of my friends and I'll make them play with me. However until that day comes if you are looking for a game for you and your friends to hop into right now, I'd give this one a wait.
