***Original review below*** Changing my recommendation until there is some confirmation that using this will not get you a VAC ban. Do not use online until then.
This is excellent for offline use to fine tune your mouse movements. We used to have this built into workshop maps in CS:GO but ever since they got rid of Y-Prac maps we have had very little monitoring of actual mouse movements. This is great for telling you not only that you are pulling down too much/ too little, but exactly how much.
I wish this had some way of indicating how off in time you were. I sometimes will get a very good over trace of the recoil pattern, but in game I have 7 stray shots way off target. Its because although I have the pattern down, I do not have the speed of the pattern down. Weapons like the AK require you to first pull down and then like 15 degrees to the right, but the speed you are pulling down changes all through those first 8 bullets. I wish our mouse trace had a color indicator telling us how forward or behind we were in that part of the spray pattern. Maybe include an option to place a little dot on our mouse trace to show where our mouse was when a bullet was fired. That would look cleaner than some weird color gradient solution.
