Mooch is a result of a Pac-Man esque game mixed with Killer Robots. The level design is challenging enough that you can easily fail a number of times if you try to rush (and in some areas, move too slowly). The game does not have a timer, so taking your time is important as it will allow you to strategize your next move. Paying attention to your surroundings (even the areas you cannot see) are important. Many times focusing on one thing makes you lose focus and result on many deaths. The boss fights I've encountered are well thought out and will challenge your patience, reflexes and force you to strategize. However, you'll will feel a sense of completion upon . The various languages options available are nice. The only issue I encountered, personally, is the game resolution seems to be locked as playing in 1440 resolution doesn't scale well as when playing in 1080. However, besides that, I recommend the game as it is worth your time if you enjoy arcade style games.

You can ask me "How many times I can die?" and I have answer for you: "Many times..." xD Oh man! You will need few things to play MOOCH: 1) Headphones 2) Steel nerves 3) Cup of herbals Great game with "next lvl syndrome" but remeber it's not a game for little girls ;)

This game has potential don't get me wrong. However it had so many things wrong with it. Instantly I found a gamebreaking bug that lets you run twice as fast by strafing with W + D (or A) and angling the camera. Also a majority of the levels have RNG. It's okay to have a small amount of RNG in games but if there's a level that when I use a necessary teleporter I could die entirely up to the game, that's not okay.

Only played this game about 15 minutes as I had to take off for work... But I did get a chance to record and upload this early "First Play on Launch Day" video.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y42h_e9nl6Y In the above video, I did give this game on early score based on what I seen in the game.. and I definitely give this game two thumbs up! It's a slower moving, "be careful" sorta game. Nice controls, WASD to move each direction and mouse to turn your character. Object of the game is to put the love of your life back together after she is torn apart in the beginning little story by robots and scattered across numerous levels as "soul pieces". My early score: 82% which might go up or down some as I play the game more, but that's a good first score I think based on what I seen so far. Hope that helps!

The game is good and worth it and although it doesn't seem like it at the start the rage gets worse as the levels go up....great game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rmm43WLulSU

This is a very atmospheric and beautiful arcade game. It has excellent and outstanding visuals - especially, the intro is really amazing! So sad, dark, and gloomy. The game at the beginning seems to be easy but with every level its difficulty greatly increases what gives a lot of fun. What I suggest is not to play it in the middle of the night because if you are not a patient type of guy you will start screaming :) I would recommend this game to all people who like to play games 30-60 minutes in the evening after a hard day in a work or school. For me it is 9/10.

Imagine Pacman in a free-roaming Tim Burton inspired world full of bots and sharp, pokey things. Welcome to Mooch. Dark and atmospheric, with simple, yet difficult (ikr?), game mechanics, Mooch pulls you into a machine world without ever feeling heavy. The levels are challenging without being overly brutal. The graphics are beautiful. Definitely recommended!

There is no resolution setting. The game screen is half of my screen size. This is the same whether fullscreen or windowed. It looks good, I'd love to play it and recommend it if it turns out to be good. I can't play it like this, and therefore can't recommend it.

Somebody sat down one day and said to themselves, I wonder what would happen if I took a really, really old arcade game and mixed it with a really, really old boardgame. So... they took Pac-Man and crossbred it with Operation. Now, this isn't one of those miricle mixtures like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or banana and toffee pie. This is more like cheese and chocolate. Mooch is one of those games that should be in the guiness book of records for worst ideas alongside things like the bungee cord made of straw. For 30 agonizing minutes I gave this title a try. At around 60 seconds per level you can see that I gave it a fairly good shake but this game is literally you, moving pac-man's evil twin through a bland maze with insta-death traps as you pick up power-pills. The pacing is sooooo slow that you really feel like this must have been someones first attempt at programming a game. But as if slow-motion, insta-death, edgy Pac-man wasn't already a dumb enough idea they actually went to new heights (depths?) of stupidity - they thought it would be a good idea to sell it to people! Thankfully, I picked this up on sale for next to nothing and it may be a worthwhile purchase if I have managed to warn you not to waste your time on this pile of steaming, digital bantha fodder.

First impression is very positive. Great little indie game. I really enjoyed first 2 hours with this game and ended in level 2-8 so far (i think it's 32-nd out of 72 levels). I liked the tutorial as part of the floor. It's getting harder and harder. I'll definitely wil be playing this more. Graphics and sounds: 9/10 Gameplay: 9/10 Flow/difficulty: 7/10 PROs: + Controls are intuitive and responsive + Graphics and overall art style + Music and sounds + Gameplay + Enemy and boss variety + Level where you're undercover as one of the robots :) + Great little hero :) + Feel of immersion - i really got scared couple of times + Price :) CONs: - Maybe sometimes little too difficult on normal mode - Tutorial doesn't tell about gamepad, despite it's fully supported - Some levels could be longer (especially on episode 1) - No co-op :)
