I really wanted a game of this type, but for me this game is unusable. I was unable to find a configuration that made it accurately score performance. The first configuration I tried was to use Logitech wired USB microphone that I had used for Rock Band and put the sound output through my LED TV in game mode. This produced seemingly sort of ok results, but I decided to test the setup. I chose some songs with decent range in pitch and just made a constant tone into the microphone. It scored me pretty well and showed my pitch going up, down, and all over the place. The variation was despite me just producing a monotone sound. When I tried singing along, the feedback is often very delayed such that it is hard to use the feedback. The feedback for singing along and for just producing a completely monotone sound were hard to even distinguish visually. I'm not a great singer, but I'm not nearly as bad as a monotone sound. The second configuration I tried was to use a wireless headset. I used a Logitech G930 headset which is a wireless headset which is designed to keep latency down. My theory was maybe the scoring would be better if I removed the sound from the TV getting to the microphone. The scoring was much, much better in this configuration. I could see the effect of changing my pitch on the scoring, although it was still very delayed. The feedback was very hard to do anything with though. All I could really get out of it was on pitch, off pitch, or so far off it didn't recognize it as an attempt. It at least didn't score a monotone sound highly. The feedback was still very delayed a lot of the time. The feedback seemed to be several words behind a fair amount of the time. I found the feedback to be almost, but not quite useless. This was a small improvement over the first configuration. Another killer problem in this mode is that there is basically no feedback from the microphone to the speakers. It is really hard to sing when you can't hear yourself (at least for me). I also tried a variation of this where I had 1 ear pad off on the headset so I could hear myself. This was the best configuration for me as I could hear the music in 1 ear and hear myself in the other. It is sad that the game reduced me to this level to try to save it. Even with this, the feedback wasn't good enough to make me ever want to play the game again. I feel like I get better feedback just by listening to myself as I sing along to things. Beyond failing at its primary function of providing feedback on your singing, the game has a bunch of other limitations. I don't consider these other limitations to be game killers, but they do make the game feel like an alpha release. The only imnput to the game is keyboard and it only uses 7 keys (4 arrows, enter, space, escape). This is a very clunky interface for a PC. It does map extremely well to a steam controller however, so once I set up the input mapping and used the controller it was pretty good. There are very few options or controls inside the game. You can switch which microphone you are using in the game, but sound output is controlled by Windows. I also didn't see any volume controls inside the game. At one point I had my headset USB dongle plugged in with the headset off and the USB mic plugged in. This made the game switch to the duet display even though the headset was turned off and I was playing in what would normally be the single player mode. It didn't seem to let me select how many players I wanted just assuming that number of players = number of mics. The controls in the game are basically limited to select song, quit, and select from a few different game modes which are pretty similar.

There isn’t much to say about this game. It is a PC version of SingStar and co. In my opinion Let’s Sing 2016 is even better than the original Let’s Sing. Better songs, better graphics, etc. You can clearly see that they made changes and improvements. It is a great pick for people who like singing. It’s even more fun with a couple of friends and some cocktails and shots.

Not enough songs. If you have many microphones connected you don't have control over the settings of the individual microphones. It is not worth buying, even with a 95% discount.

When the progress indicator on the singing lines skates across the entire bar perfectly, then the game says "Oops!" Also, notice the lyrics are slightly off, by about half a second. It won't tell you to start singing, till after the bar has already started. Edit: The game doesn't work how they are pretending it does. After testing, it doesn't care how well you sing, it only cares how LOUD you sing. It automatically tones your voice to match the meter, then changes it's position based on how loud you are. It's a scam. This is the same scoring system for all three games.

I couldn't get my webcam mic or headset mic to work with it. Had to return it. If that gets fixed (and hopefully mouse support added) I would be happy to try it again.

There is a delay on your voice making this game unplayable. There is also no microphone input volume controls so have fun eating your mic.

This is reminiscent of a place in K-town NYC where the karaoke prgram rates your singing. The difference is, if you score above 90% at the karaoke bar, you get a free drink. The videos are the original music videos. With that said, this is a neat little program. Unfortunately, the songs are very limited. I only know 5 of the 35 songs and can only sing 3 of them. At the discounted price, it is not a bad deal. If there were DLCs to download, like Rocksmith, this would be a definite buy. But if you don't like more than 5 songs on here, pass or wait for a sale.

It's going somewhere.. I miss the option for a bigger catalogue, but I'm guessing a DLC is already on its way. I just hope we are able to choose songs we want. Some kind of a store. I would also like to be able to turn up the volume on the mic, in the game. But think Singstar. It's going there.

The game has 35 tracks, which is alright in general and you can even play against others in local multiplayer, if you own multiple mic devices (or just have one device for one gamemode). That's all the positive aspects for this game. First of all, the game has no mouse support and you can only navigate with the keyboard in the menu, which is weird but I can get use to it. If you have multiple mic devices connected to your PC, than good luck finding the proper device and choosing it in game. If you want to calibrate your device, you can forget about it. When I sing, the game sometimes doesn't get my voice and often ignores it. The game promotes 7 game modes, but to be honest 2 of them is not really mention able because how similar they are. You are locked to the 35 tracks, so after some time you will get bored by them. If you want to play a karaoke game, avoid this one. I'm sure you can find something better and more varied than this thing. I don't recommend getting this at all.

Listen, I ignored the comments that said that you wouldn't be able to calibrate the game, but spoiler alert: DO NOT IGNORE THE REVIEWS SAYING YOU CAN'T CALIBRATE THE GAME. My mic picks up the signing about a good half count after the lyrics have passed. It's no bueno.
