There are better games in the genre, and better uses of your time, even at the low price of fifty cents.

It is entertaining for a time, but if you stop playing you forget why you find it entertaining.
I'll probably end up playing it again sometime.

I really should have researched this game more than I did. If you want a casual tappy tappy screen time game... then this is for you, bur for those of us that enjoy a nice long strategy game with multiple ways to build and create, not so much.
Graphics are ok, for a tablet or something, but only allows for a fullscreen resolution... I have a widescreen.
Gameplay is very linear. Tappy screen, and watch for blinky flashy thingy.
TLDR; casual game, not strategy game.
Information / Review English
Meridian: Age of Invention is a time management game developed by Mirball Games.
Gameplay / Story
Your task in this game is to let your workers collect resources, which are then used to upgrade buildings or remove obstacles. There are three different levels of difficulty that have to be mastered. However, you can choose the hardest one immediately. You need quick reflexes and strategies to get a gold medal in the expert levels or to beat the developer records. I will not go into the story because it is a bit too clichéd. However, the gameplay is convincing across the board and works well.
Pro
+ Support of different operating systems
+ solid graphics and sound
+ various difficulties, not too easy and not too difficult
+ many levels that offer a good number of hours of gameplay
+ same game mechanics as other games in this genre
+ Trading cards
Contra
- gets boring quickly
Conclusion
Meridian: Age of Invention is intuitive and fun, if mindless.
Information / Review Deutsch

Not bad for the price, not more then an app for your iphone or tablet, but fun. I like the tones of socialism in the game. Fun to see how the people require the gov to fix everything and do nothing on their own. Sort of like how America is becomming.

It's very simple, and probably the most fun waste of time I've had in a while :)
Finished it in one sitting, only took a few of hours.
The graphics were cute, the game play seemed to be aimed at a young audience (early teens perhaps).
Was a nice little game and as I didn't go in with any expectations, I'm happy to say it's left quite a nice impression on me.

First and foremost , if you are looking for a very-deep game that will take your hours , this is not your game. The game's concept is OK, this is more like a smartphone app game rather than a full fledged PC game, however it may well kill your time and your small budget. after a couple of level the game gets way too repetitive..
PROS :
- Simple and easy to understand
- Very easy game, even reaching gold trophies is quite easy
- Cartoonish graphics
- Indie style
CONS:
- Too linear
- Repetitive.Very.Repetitive.
- Too short. Finishing 59 levels will take your..maybe 3 hours
- Very small variety. You build same thing over and over, also same levels. You build electiricity for all houses in...10 levels?
- Doesn't even worth this low price, should be lower.

The game is simple but not that interesting. Similar games have a relaxed mode for playing it without stars, while this one doesn't have that, unless you make everything perfect which is quite irrelevant from my point of view. Some maps are quite nice, some do not mix with the story but well... it's a simple game :P
It's not a bad game just one that could be better and improved with a patch. Also some of the buildings are simpler in design, everything seems not that developed... Maybe a better or improved version or a sequel is in development? Try it :P

Released in 2013 and so few reviews (at the time I wrote this) AMAZING! Even bad games get more attention then this, and this is by no means a bad game.
Well the story is basically revamping civilization but not in the usual RPG way. This is a time management game played by levels with certain goals to achieve at each level. (Similiar to how Faerie Solitaire, Labors of Hercules or even Tales of the Orient have level goals.) Break boulders, fix roads, reconstruct houses, construct water towers, clear waterways, mine ore, etc, etc, and try to do it under the certain time limits to recieve a gold, silver, or bronze trophy. Relatively easy because the game does not speed up like Diner Dash or Dr. Daisy:Pet Vet, and it is long because it has an actual storyline. Not an overly complicated story as our inventor friend moves from place to place fixing things like roads and houses and bringing "invention" back to each place improving the overall quality of life for the inhabitants.
Fun, easy, family oriented game or simply a game to play while taking a break from anything or everything else.
