Okay so I've had this game for quite a while now, and I use it still from time to time.
If you're just looking for a relaxing atmosphere this game sure has a bunch of mix and match worlds/ambiences, they're nice and can be thoroughly relaxing. The guidance that each focus can bring is fairly enthralling and helps you ease your mind more. I've explored a bunch of different sets of audio, as well as completed Zen a few times, (to me it has been my favourite).
You will come to find you will often end up picking different worlds and music for very different moods. Some days you are in the desert, others in the tundras, and again others in fields or lakes. However again, with so much use and how moods can be, you will end up finding with enough time you want to change the mood up more, and that therein lies the problem for longer term use.
After so much use, there's a ever wanting desire of more. Seeing as this game only sees updates anymore on Quest, and as good as this software can be, it sort of pales in comparison to the now free (or cheaper) content you can get elsewhere, such as VRChat and similar. Alongside the notion you can get free meditation audio too (Guided Meditation VR has their own free to listen materials as well).
Had this the same features and same extensive worlds that the Quest version had, I'd heartily recommend this to just about anyone, (the environments are really well made). But, seeing as this Steam version was left behind, I can't exactly recommend it to everyone anymore, knowing people would be paying for an abandoned yet still ongoing project elsewhere.
Come the day this app gets a full PC port of the Quest materials/features, then I'd again praise this software.
Until then, it feels like this is just an artifact of the older gen VR days.
The controls and use of the game, while not vitally important in an atmosphere app, still feel very aged.

A nearly perfect VR meditation space with a very large selection of guided meditations, environments, and music that you can combine in endless combinations. This is far and away the best (definitely the most fully featured) VR meditation app available... and I'm pretty sure I've tried them all. Bring on more add-ons... I'd be happy to pay for them to support these devs.
I love the ability to move to ANY point in your mediation environment... including hovering in the air. My favorite spots are hovering above the trees while birds flock and swoop around me.
Suggestions for the devs
I'd like to see higher quality, more photo realistic environments, but it's a minor grumble. I'd also like to see the ability to turn on/off the meditation vocal visualizations (pulsating colored light) in any area, not only the "Visualization" mode... and maybe a variety of visualizations to choose from.

This quiet, unpretentious application is one of the best constructed easiest to get into things I have used in VR and is one of the go to things that I use when I show off the powers of VR to friends. It is easy to navigate. It has a ton of environments that are incredibly rendered. It isn't just "sit on a mountainside and meditate to pretty music." No, you can explore the environments. I just meditated in a Japanese village on the side of a mountain next to a waterfall AND YOU CAN EXPLORE EVERYTHING! I went under the waterfall. I explored about 20-30 different buildings in the village - including inside the buildings. These aren't just one room shacks. They have multiple floors. They have balconies. I explored a secret bamboo glen that I had to go through a mountain archway. And they have 27 of these environments.
And the meditations are top notch as well. They claim to have 16 hours of meditation on a lot of different topics (pregnancy, stress, sleep, etc.) and these are broken up into differing durations designed to fit how much time you have available. You can choose different music styles of background music (or even streaming radio).

I really wanted to like this product but I am so sorry I wasted my money on it. This thing is full of problems. I had the free version on my gear vr and it also had problems but I saw the good reviews here so I tried it on my Rift, I used it for panic attacks only to find it caused more problems then it was worth.
I would strap my rift on and fire up the program only to have it crash 50% of the time, the graphics are nice when you look straight on but when you move around you see a lot of 2d images. Sometime the sound doesn't play at all and when it does it never plays through my headset always my speakers no matter what settings I change.
My biggest problem is the crashing and lack of support. I completely feel that this title has been abandoned and I would be shocked if the dev will update it further. So sadly I must say stay away from this one.

TL;DR: I don't recommend buying this game because it has been in EAP for too long without any significant update that improves the existing experience or provides a new one. There's a clear room for improvement.
WARNING: This game was published in 2016 as part of the Early Access Program. I decided to buy it in January 2020. Since then, I don't remember seeing any update for the game since today (end of April 2021, AKA 1 year and 3-4 months), still being in its EAP phase.
The game immerses you in several visual and relaxing environments, where you can move in any direction. However, as a "meditation game", you should not expect anything else but the environment with their sounds.
As its current stage, being in EAP for that long with its, still, lack of regular updates, without an option for having a virtual guide or teacher that tells you what to do, just standing (or sitting) while moving around the place you have chosen, and so on, I'm afraid I must say I don't recommend this game.
I am more than happy to review it again if, at some point, all these previously commented points are amended. But, for now, I can't get rid of the feeling this game is just a prototype, and it still has a long roadmap ahead.

I've had this for a couple of years now. This is the best meditation program I've ever tried. Having said that, development has stopped. Several of the environments are flagged as new as if the authors were adding new stuff, but it has been stuck in that state since I got it. I wish someone would pick this up again, or make a similar program.

So, I took a chance on this game, and I must say, it paid off.
Full disclosure: I bought this experience for my hippie girlfriend. She likes to meditate.
I bought it and logged in to check out the features and made sure it ran on my PC as I am running Windows 7 and this game is intended for Win10. Thankfully the game runs and I'm hoping they do some more testing and optimization for Win7 for future updates.
The interface is smooth and clean, though can select the wrong inputs if you "outrun" it or go too fast for the interface to keep up. The number of environments is very decent for the amount this experience is going for. The environments are widely varied and all are in full 3D and can be explored through teleportation. Movement is not restricted to the ground, and you can also teleport and move through the air, giving some very interesting and revealing views on the environments.
There is a limit to immersion though, as no element I could find was interactive. I understand this is intended more as a guided meditation aid, but I think simple activities such as making ripples in a small pond, raking the sand in Temple Adonis, or brushing aside hanging vines would increase the ability to get lost in these environments and find another type of zen stress relief. Not sure if this kind of interaction is possible, but I have a feeling it would be welcome for those who are interested in getting lost in a world.
As for the guided meditation and welcoming nature of this experience, I can say that while my girlfriend loves VR, she has always left one headphone out as a way to ground herself. This was the first game where she put both headphones in, smiled, and allowed herself to go through a few guided relaxation sessions. Afterward, she told me she wanted to make this a daily routine. The smile on her face is all the answer I need.
For anyone who has the horsepower, graphics options and in-game supersampling are included, and effects are applied in realtime, allowing you to adjust a scene for optimal performance.
The amount of options when it comes to music, meditation type, narration, duration, and environment are pretty staggering. There's options for 2-minute routines, 5-minute routines, and much more, with different levels of meditation, and different guides and topics to help you achieve a more personalized session.
There were certain areas where you could "peel back the curtain" and see angles and areas you weren't meant to, but as someone who likes to explore, I actually found that fun. The graphics are well done, detailed full 3D models and are certainly not the same as the geometric cutouts in the main trailer.
As this software is still in Early Access, I am definitely looking forward to seeing what additions and enhancements are made, as well as seeing improvements in the UI and less background noise in the spoken narratives.
All in all, I highly recommend this experience for anyone who wants to get away and find a lot of calm in another world. Although if you're someone looking for a game, with stuff to do and things to win, this isn't the purchase for you. as for myself, I love the worlds on offer here and even as static backgrounds, are fun to walk around in with some cool music in the background. I can't wait for more.

DO NOT BUY.
The game is abandonware. They put it in early access for ages but then abandoned the steam version. It still gets updates... just not here.
The early access label is pretty deceptive at this point.
If you're in the market for a good vr meditation app I'd look at DeepStates[VR] or Nature Treks VR instead.

This is a well thought through [strike]game[/strike] application (I won't call it a game, because it isn't one).
I've had spells of meditation in the past, especially during troubling times... So I am talking purely from my own experiences here (I'm not a meditation expert). But I definitely think that this is aimed at a particular audience... I'll share my views below:
Good bits
- If you're easily distracted like me, then this game WILL help you to learn how to clear your mind. I used audio guided meditation for some time, then progressed to relaxing music.
- When you play this, make sure that you're comfortable. A cushion helps if you're on the floor, or find a comfortable chair. It helps.
- The voices for the guidance are fantastic. If you are the kind of person to find particular voices relaxing (Morgan Freeman, David Attenborough etc) then you'll really like the guidance in here.
- There's MANY choices for guidance that cover a decent array of issues. You can choose to have guidance to help tackle anxiety, or you can go for Zen.
- You can choose between 2, 5 and 10 minute sessions. It gives plenty of choice if you're pushed for time. However, this leads on to a bad point:
The bad bits
- You can't select more than 10 minutes, or if you can then I didn't figure out how. So, you select a 10 minute Meditation, you're placed into this wonderful, serene, picturesque landscape, you're guided into a relaxed state over 10 minutes.... Then suddenly the landscape vanishes and you are back at the menu. This needs fixing ASAP. It completely destroys the experience for me.
- It needs an 'open' mode. You're supposed to try and use the same space for meditation, I think once you're accustomed to the surroundings you could visit without the need for guidance or voices. Just a mode where you can visit a place and stay for as long as you like would be nice.
(Sorry if any of these ARE features, I couldn't find them if so)
There's nothing more to say on it. This game is worth the money and will hopefully have additional features implemented in the future.
