Thought I'd give Tap Tap Loot a try for five minutes. That was a couple months ago.

It's fun little idle game that fights monsters and gathers loot as you work or play on your PC. It's always fun to see what new items or cosmetics have been unlocked after I've finished a level or gaming session.

It's a fun game. I'm a big Bongo Cat fan as the little cat bongoing about motivates me when writing on my book series. Tap Tap Loot is a bit more active than that, requiring you to check regularly for better gear and to switch things about, otherwise you'll notice your character dying a lot. It did pull me out of my writing flow in the beginning, but that got better once the gear was mostly in place. Sometimes, I did just end up tapping specifically to see the character running along at the bottom of my screen, which had something nice and therapeutic to it.
All in all I'd recommend this game to those that generally type or click a lot, as I don't think I'd have progressed much if it wasn't for my series. Alternatively, autoclickers also work. I could imagine that working nicely while watching or reading something, so you can see the character fighting about at the bottom without having to actively do anything for it.
Achievements are a nice mix of "easy to obtain" and "incentive to keep going", even after reaching max level. The skins are fun, and I like the creativity at play here, both in the builds you can put together, and the appearance.
Not sure I'll play it for as long as Bongo Cat, as it does invite to look through the gear again even at the end, which only fuels procrastination, but I can definitely see myself revisiting it whenever I actively want to procrastinate or ponder plot points or scene structures. For that, the therapeutic feel of having the little guy run about destroying foes is perfect.

My go-to typing game alongside Bongo Cat. Level 488 for context. I love the art, I love lobbies and their implementation. YMMV I'm sure, but I'm at a point where I'm able to experiment with builds a little (I have magic, crit, and dodge/phy builds) and that's been fun. I played a lot of the demo when there weren't skins, so I'm very much enjoying build experimentation while not sacrificing ~*fashion*~
I think very early on in the game can be tough, since equipment variety will be bad and loot is random. But if you're able to just boot up the game and forget about it everyday, you'll eventually have a lot to work with in the long run (I WFH).

Fun game and not visually intrusive, plus you can just leave it running in the background if you need it out of the way.

It's good for the background but the drops are absolutely bugged so you will get a certain number of them consistently but you will never find any outside of that group. I went 1,000+ stages and am still missing quite a few mythics.
Don't expect this to be an engaging game or anything it's purely an afk game since none of the stats really matter.

Fun little desktop companion that fights enemies and goes on adventures the more clicks and keystrokes you do.
